Yeah the norwalk juicer is where its at! The are around 2500 I think. Im at least a few rounds away from that. You can get a green power twin gear for around $400 that will juice fan leaves. I just got one and its great!

I have two jacuzzi tubs and a bunch of 10" pvc that was once used for an nft system that I am gonna use for my aquaponics system. For now they are just sitting outside getting snowed on. Theres an aquaponic farm in Hawaii that is certified OG through Oregon Tilth. I really want to check them out, they have free tours once a month.

You ever see dave the raw food trucker? He lost 240lbs and cured diabetes and cancer with juices. Check him out on youtube.

It may burn out in a year or so but those Montel Williams blenders are a good price. I bet they would emulsify pot leaves no problem. I went Paleo three months ago and cured a 20 year struggle with gout. I had to drop grains, legumes, gluten, fructose and any processed foods. I eat organic as much as possible---eggs, grass fed butter, coconut oil, meat and lots of vegetables. I did notice when I did a 10 day juice fast last spring that my joints felt like they had been lubed with WD-40.
Turn those Jacuzzis and 10" PVC into Monster Scrog PPKs.

I do have some ideas with some giant ourdoor ppks...

something along the lines of a kiddie pool for a top bucket...I am hoping to throw a couple plants outside next year if my bro doesn't talk me into moving.

Yup the norwalk is the one i'm hoping for for xmas . Recommended by the gerson clinic. Price tag does seem steep, but i've spent more for a single appointment with specialist doctors that did nothing for me. At least I know the juicer is going to have a positive effect......

Would you happen to know the name of that farm in hawaii? I'll be in hawaii in a few months, and would love to take the tour if time lines up. Never seen or heard of dave, but i'll definitely check him out.

Couple weeks to go.
They are finally starting to fill in.

You can see the "hungry" plant sticking out on the RIGHT.
I think I finally figured out its problem.....to much air circulation...... There is an oscillating fan on the wall next to it, blowing right at it. I turned the fan off and grobro increased the feed in the top off res to ec2
It's sitting at 1.6 right now.

Heres what I just pulled out of my ez vegger.

Give her a few days in the ppk and she will be a happy lil bush.
I don't even know how long she's been in the cloner...how easily they grow entices me to play with aero;)

Had a mystery leak the other day. After a few shopvac sessions I found it 3' away from where the puddle was forming. It was drizzling down the PVC ever so sneakily and puddling underneath four push fittings and two unions..... I went to the hardware store and got some of this.

Can set underwater, sets in 20 minutes, cures in one hour
And drinking water safe!
It's a two part epoxy that you mix by hand, with gloves of course.

It worked well on this leaky fitting.

hey hl45. been lurking for quite some time now. saw mention of aquaponics and outdoor PPKs and got my gears spinning. please tell me you are talking about plumbing pulse fed ppk's from an aquaponics system. i would love to see that... i've been day dreaming about my greenhouse/aquaponics system for the past week or so and i'm ready for spring. anyway, i'm not sure if that's what you were suggesting but the idea popped into my head so thought i would share.

MrAwder glad you came out of the shadows!
I have so many ideas with hydro systems and aquaponics.

I don't think I will flower a cannabis plant in an aquaponics system. To get a nice chunky plant the amount of fish poop you would need would be more than the fish would thrive in. You could flower a plant im sure. I have heard that they veg really well but for flowering, our hungry plant is a bit hungrier than fish care for. There is a balance between tank volume and growbed volume in aquaponics. Perhaps a hungry cannabis plant could offset this balance by consuming more of the nitrites and nitrates. That experiment is low on my list right now, plus I want to grow food. I'm a organic snob when it comes to food, to the point that most of my friends are suprised that I use Jacks..

To make things clear...
The ppk technology and aquaponics? Yes!
Aquaponics and Cannabis? Eventually, first kale chard strawberrys tomatoes lettuce spinach beans bok Choy etc.

Just a few days ago, a sweet tropical fruity banana citrus odor permeated the room.
Today while cleaning up some leaves my fingers had a complete DIESEL RUBBER smell.
They did not smell like this before....

As our good pal says "proofs in da pudding (or should I say budding) with monocroppin and dialing strain and environment"
Thanks DHF it's gonna pay off this time.

I am still learning the strain, she is not dialed yet. Still, I am improving and making progress. Recognizing this makes a potential disaster a bump in the road.

Keep on truckin

Yes that's exactly what I was asking... PPKs + aquaponics for growing food. sounds like a winner. i have little interest in cannabis + aquaponics except as a fun experiment for the same reasons you described. too difficult to maintain the correct nutrient balance.

Now what's stuck in my head is a way to do multi-level (height) PPKs. My planned greenhouse location is off the side of my house, so I am considering a chinese style greenhouse (roughly) with a stadium along the north wall.

okay i will stop polluting your thread with this stuff. your plants look fantastic!

I hope you don't plan on having D9 help you trim as he is complaining about the amount of trimming he is doing. These look just as bad as his.

Yeah D9 wont be finished trimming till next year, I worry about that guy sometimes.:comfort: He had so much to trim he shut down his thread. He is planning something though....I can just tell. He is probably already flowering as we speak.

I get five people in their and we knock out a plant in a lil over an hour and a half.
I am hoping to get it all done and reloaded in record time this round.

I already have plants veggin for both rooms. Gonna veg them bigger this time before I flip them. I think my plants could be a foot wider. I may not have much room at that point, but I dont mind crawling on my hands and knees.

Its not pollution is its part of the solution. Plus the wicked pulse is RIP and the ppk thread is a beast of its own. I think for multilevel ppks you would need multi level brains to ensure that the media wick is always wet. Or just a control box on every level....your top of res up high going to float valves on control boxes for every level. Pretty simple.

That's when you know you are making full use of your space
Yeah that.........:peacock:

"Swell bitches" is the new term of the day.........Looks like yours heard yas and handled it.....still.as yas said........There`s always room for improvement till yas peak out on yields over several runs , and then........

That`s when yas`ve squeezed every gram outta yo bitches , and it don`t get no better.....

I`d liketa see yas hit 12 lbs outta yer 4 plant 5 light setup bro........Hell.....

More......with the proper hybrid and dialed to the tits environment and watts per sq ft.......anyways.......

Keep dialin Bro.......DHF.......:ying:.......

even simpler to put a reservoir with a pump for pulse on each level of plants with an overflow set at 7" from the top one feeding a lower one, which feeds a lower one, and so on until you reach the bottommost reservoir, which has a small pump in it that is just big enough to maintain the water level in the top reservoir. a trickle would suffice as you are not feeding the solution through plants and diluting it. instead it is being fed in parallel. the bottom most reservoir would have the float in it. to receive solution from the volume tank as per normal. a pump failure in any part does not drain the individual plant reservoirs.

you would lose some operational redundancy but not much if you check your plants daily anyway.

you say that now, wait till your doing it every day dodging hot bulbs and trying not to knock over fans while you stomp all over retic hoses ... the novelty wears off.
