Resting in the fields, far from the turbulent space
Half asleep near the stars with a small dog licking your face.

This morning when I got up to P, I seen little Styrofoam balls and chewed up junk all over the place. He tore the thing I put on my lap to keep my laptop from getting me too hot to a million pieces. My cleaning lady would kill me. I am going to have to do the myself.

I love this dog.. But he has some habits that are a bit much.

Nice pup ....that's a bully breed for ya! LOL
You better hope he never goes into your grow, if you have one! Mine was on his way outta here after pulling that stunt 3X, it was like he waited a couple days before I was about to flip each time before ravaging the veg room .....set me back an entire grows time altogether! Took mites in there too to top it off!

You know what they say about your family ......you can't kill em! LOL Enjoy the pooch bro, it takes a little time and patience but it's all worth it in the end!

I don't know if I've got any Dylan lyrics that will cover that.

Not the biggest Dylan fan, but I absolutely love a few of his song.

Bad to the Bone is the the song that comes to mind right now.

I have still not cleaned this mess up. I just changed rooms for now and I am avoiding looking at him.

It intrigues me from a cultural standpoint to know what Dylan songs someone from Colombia would prefer. I had a good friend from Colombia in college but we could have cared less about Dylan back then (1980s)

When I come to this country I lost everything and the song, "How does it feel" was playing one day and I related to it very deeply.

invest in a Kong toy huligun

every puppy i have ever had went through a chewing phase and eventually all of them stopped on their own at some point. better to buy two Kong toys than it is one couch and/or desk and/or door frame .............

a friend of mine use to give his dog hunks of firewood. cheap as hell and the vet said as long as the dog is not actually swallowing the splinters it is good for their teeth

When my brothers were killed I gathered my mother and ran as fast was we could to the US Embassy. They rushed us out immediately on a government plane straight to California.
We left behind a life of servants, horses and property to nothing but the clothes on our backs. My sisters went to Panama at first and my mother and I went to California. We had at go into hiding straight away. Mother was on the verge of suicide and stayed that way for two years of so. It happened this time of year by the way, and she has relapses. I was completely alone while she was in the hospital in and out. I was on the verge of suicide and I heard this song. I played it over and over and it felt like me. It kept me from doing it. Since then everything worked out okay, but man it was touch and go for a couple years.

Once upon a time you dressed so fine,
Threw the bums a dime in your prime, didn't you ?
People'd call, say, "Beware doll, you're bound to fall,"
You thought they were all a'kiddin' you.
You used to laugh about
Everybody that was hangin' out.
Now you don't talk so loud,
Now you don't seem so proud,
About having to be scrounging your next meal.

How does it feel ?
How does it feel ?
To be without a home ?
Like a complete unknown ?
Like a rolling stone ?

Aw, you've gone to the finest school all right, Miss Lonely,
But you know you only used to get "juiced" in it.
Nobody's ever taught you how to live out on the street,
And now you're gonna have to get used to it.
You say you never compromise
With a mystery tramp, but now you realize
He's not selling any alibis
As you stare into the vacuum of his eyes
And say, "Do you want to make a deal?

How does it feel ?
How does it feel ?
To be on your own ?
With no direction home ?
A complete unknown ?
Like a rolling stone ?

Aw, you never turned around to see the frowns
On the jugglers and the clowns
When they all did tricks for you.
You never understood that it ain't no good,
You shouldn't let other people get your kicks for you.
You used to ride on a chrome horse with your diplomat
Who carried on his shoulder a Siamese cat.
Ain't it hard when you discover that
He really wasn't where it's at
After he took from you everything he could steal ?

How does it feel ?
How does it feel ?
To have ya' on your own ?
With no direction home ?
Like a complete unknown ?
Like a rolling stone ?

Aw, princess on the steeple and all the pretty people
They're all drinkin', thinkin' that they've got it made.
Exchanging all precious gifts,
But you'd better take your diamond ring, you'd better pawn it babe.
You used to be so amused
At Napoleon in rags and the language that he used.
Go to him now, he calls you, you can't refuse.
When you ain't got nothing, you've got nothing to lose
You're invisible now, you've got no secrets to conceal.

How does it feel ?
Aw, how does it feel ?
To be on your own ?
With no direction home ?
Like a complete unknown ?
Like a rolling stone ?

I've been told I am a very good singer. I used to lead the singing in the church I grew up in and was in a quartet. I've tried but I can't come close to what Dylan achieved with his singing.
I grew up hearing his music on the radio and I hated his singing and music. I bought a couple of his albums including the one "Rolling Stone" was on but couldn't listen to the end. They seemed liked discordant noise. I was no slouch with rock music either. I could get off on everything from Yes to Sex Pistols.
One day when I was 32 I was on a long road trip with my Mother. I had driven her to a family wedding several states away. She was very ill with cancer. I stopped at a truck stop to get gas and bought a cassette of "Highway 61 Revisited" on impulse. For some reason it hit me like nothing ever had. I understood emotionally what he was doing and it was like finding the clear spring for much of the music I had listened to for 20 years. The trick was the conflicting emotions he expressed simultaneously. It was meant to be comical but destructive and angry too. Your song seems to possess it all...the thrill and wonder of freedom, cruel vengeance, sadness and sympathy, regret and mourning for childhood. It's all in the voice. It takes a lot of aliveness to wake up to that. Many times I'm not up to it.
Hope your Mother is well.

A good pup would be hell of a lot cheaper . Glad things worked out for you all .

That pup just gets better looking .

Thanks, I am starting to grow attached to the little brat.

And speaking of brats.... I hate this pressure from mom. She is like 60 and says she is going to die before she sees any kids from me. Talk about guilt. What am I supposed to just find some chick and start having kids? Those deals never work out. I think a woman in the USA has her contingency plans all laid out before you even go to the altar.

Huli, think about her position and your traditions. Your brothers may have already given her grandchildren had they lived. As a son, it's up to you to continue the family line, too. So, get you a good Catholic girl and get to makin' some babies. I suggest someone from the old country, so she's got your same values. Plus, your mother will probably like her better for it, and that makes everything a whole lot easier. I speak from experience on that one!

The older I get, the more I can see how arranged marriages can be a very good thing.

I love this dog.. But he has some habits that are a bit much.

Couple of tips, if you don't mind me offering them.

First, the dog should be learning to use a kennel and sleeping in that at night. The kennel is his safe place, never a punishment place. Since he's young you can teach him early on and it will come in useful in the future, I guarantee it.

Second, make a pepper spray with Tabasco or similar, use that to discourage chewing on prized items.

Third, I second the suggestion for a Kong, but also other chew toys for him.

Finally, every time you can, redirect, redirect, redirect. He's not doing this stuff just for fun, he's probably teething and sometimes that shit hurts, they've gotta do something to alleviate the irritation and pain.

Pepper spray ? a clicker is all you need , once you have it down to pat pup will come straight away for the reward , a far better option .

A clicker doesn't click itself, it needs someone to click it. If the puppy's chewing stuff when the owner isn't there, how is the clicker going to work? Just spray some of the mix onto your furniture and items he chews and you can turn your back.

Sorry , my mistake i never read it properly thinking of pepper spray actually on pup .
May well work , yrs ago 1 of my terriers used to steal the cat food from cats bowl as soon as we went outside the door . 1 time we put cat outside & followed having mixed some chilli powder in the cat food . Dog NEVER touched it again .
