dude, kaep totally lost that game on his own, akers and gore did thier part for 6pts & 7pts respectively(akers didn't miss the walk off til OT), kaep responsible for 8 of the rams points, all the rams offense needed to do was make the 2pt conversion and legatron had to hit a gimme to tie it up....kaep lost that game on his own, it wouldn't have needed to go to ot if not for HIS screw ups....thus not putting the game on akers foot for the 2nd time when he's clearly in a slump....smash mouth 49er football has gotten us to this point...why change? I agree gore takes a pounding but that dude is a machine, he did it all last year and will step up to the plate with his little bro KH out for the season...trust the only way gore slows down is if kaep shoots him one across the middle and he take a big hit from a saftey...kaep LOVES setting up the receivers to take BIG hits ie: manningham and like every ball he forces on walker...dude's gonna break our entire recieving core before the playoffs even get here(assuming we will make the playoffs w/ kaep undercenter). How many timeouts did kaep have to call to avoid delay penalties? like 4? because he decides to audible too late? Play calling was VERY conservative, more so than it would have been if Alex was playing for sure, and since the cannon is supposedly the X factor why aren't we taking advantage of it? possibly a lack of confidence on g.ro's part in the 2nd stringer's ability to make smart decisions and not turn the ball over? also for the record, kaep is NOT a rookie. if alex was playing that game I'm confident that we would have shut the rams out or held them to 3. after the first scoring drive of the game (gore for 6) the following 11 drives ended in punts, a safety, and a fumble for a td...where was the explosiveness that kaep was supposed to bring?...all I saw was drive after drive that didn't even make it to field goal range.Kap didn't lose that game on his own. As for Gore, he was putting in much work making Alex look good earlier in the season and now he's not done enough....
Gore is not going to be ready for the playoffs if they keep trying to run it up the gut like that. They need to throw it more and use those offensive weapons they have. The O-line was collapsing too soon and it wasn't because of the low snaps.
Kap handled the pressure as well as he could, given the circumstances, and he didn't lose on his own out there.
Bad play calling from upstairs. Akers. Bullshit safety call. Walker reaching for the ball in the endzone like he's got the arms of a 3 year old. There are others, but we should have won that game, despite the rookies mistakes made by Kap.
HB.
well appearantly the line of scrimage extends past the sidlines, and what I saw looked like the ball did pass it, however that doesn't make up for the fact that he ran 17 yds in the wrong direction to get himself in that position to begin withI saw the play and Kap clearly was about 4 yrds shy of the line of scrimmage and that was a good call.I'm saying I dont think Alex makes that decision.

kaep would have lost to saints if not for the 2 pick 6's by our D, and last time I checked the saints D was 31st in the league...
