what kind of mold...e20 only solves powder mildew. for botrytis try actinovate and theres a few other ones out there that are OMRI...but this late probably wont do much. sucks to hear about that at least its only a percentage of the crop.....for outdoor growing its always pretty common to lose a small percentage....

Nice garden! Sorry about the mold but E420 is for PW. I'm suprised that you used that product with your medical grow. Anyway good luck with the finish.

I meant PM. Dumb phone. For medical patients you should look for OMRI products so that your patients are safe. Beautiful garden though.

Bud rot / Mold

Serenade, Activonate, and Fungal based compost Teas alternating once a week until week 5 of flower. Prevention is your best friend.

yea some of the vets in the OD thread say that a proper compost tea along with checking brix levels and other very specific things you can make the plant so healthy that you will not even need fungicides to prevent mold...

some areas may just be too humid or not have the proper weather...how much direct sunlight have your ladies gotten and what are the highest daily temps? usually you need at least 10 hrs direct per day and you get best growth in the 80-90 range...

also overwatering in low temps and low light increases risk of fungal disease....best to water early in the day and let them bake all day...

its not as bad as it sounds. and it only seems to be on the plants in the middle of my garden. i think the problem is that the plants are 2 close together and they are not breathing as good as they would if they were say 12' from each other on center... nothin but good weather coming so will see what happens im willing to roll the dice to the very end. ill get some fresh pics up soon.

Yo Aero. Props got good advise. Actinovate is good shit, but once you see mold the spores have already been on the plant for weeks. Might be a bit too late for actinovate spray.

Also I noticed the strain your growing has fat indica dominant leaf blades and also grows very dense buds. Thats your biggest problem in my opinion. Maybe not the best strain choice for your climate and garden style.

Next year maybe go with a hybrid with thinner bladed leaves and nuggs that don't get as dense. Either way your garden is crazy and it looks like your gonna have an amazing crop.

My advise is get in those plants and de leaf the shit out of them especially around the buds, and maybe foliar spray actinovate in the evening.

Remember theres such a thing as acceptable losses. In farming not every ear of corn gets harvested. Even if you lose 10% your still killin it.

Good luck the rest of the way,

Peace.

Spraying with Pirahna and tarantula, early in veg, and very beginning of flower works great, similar to a tea, out competes the bad fungi and bacteria for space. Serenade and Actinovate work great to but only contain one strain each. Folks are right once its there its to late to save those flowers. Make sure to get all of it off, the spores present can cause severe lung infections when smoked. I take its been a rainy fall this year out east, comes early out that way. 12' centers does sound like it will help, possibly around bases of the plants.

maina what did you use?

you guys having issues with moths/caterpillars back east? they burrow into the nugs and they mold up quickly...it could be that instead of just regular bud rot.
