Best overall commercial strain? (taste, yield, potency, etc..)

I had to get to page 11 in order to see the perfect commercial strain finally mentioned by someone(TY Yes2prop).
BLUE DREAM!
It has the best balance of everything. Look, smell, taste, potency, yield, ease of growing. Hell my 6 year old nephew could pull a lb and half under a 1k with blue dream. I personally don't like the shit but damn it sells out everytime and I know plenty of people that its their exclusive strain that they run and they run it big. Blue Dream=commercial growers holy grail.

I agree its so flooded in the east it aint funny...it started in '09 but that shit is some of the weakest herb but people love the flavor and bag appeal. Aye, there's a trend that's been developing in my area over the last few years or so and i was wondering if the same is going on around the country and/or dispensaries...when you command "loud" or "exotic" seedless herb prices (talking 45 a 1/8 and up) people are bringing the herb back after smoking a sample if the don't get lifted to the moon instantly...in my market people don't understand the nuance of sativas and indicas so if you have a sativa leaning strain they hate that shit. It hasn't happened to me yet cuz i understand my market but my friends and my sister don't grow or wanna understand the differences...they just go off the smell and bag appeal.

I agree, I've found a couple very nice yielding phenos in a pack that I grew out. The sativa leaning pheno is about as beautiful as they come.for me its dj short's Old Time Moonshineso prolific plant in all ways

Any variety of purps, as long as theres purple in it, it sells.

^^I find it to be pretty easy. BD Strain I've been running since last year is awesome as far as trimming goes.

That's the one. There are supposedly several different cuts running around but the real Blue Dream goes about 11 weeks, makes big colas and has a nice blueberry haze smell and looks amazing. Potency isn't quite there but most smokers don't care because it tastes good.

But i have seen so much shitty indoor and outdoor bluedream I see why it gets a bad name!but when grown rite is is decent smoke and yields.heavy!

i would luv to see pics of the kalishnapple kush as its a new strain... i was wanting to run shambala kush...i havent decided yet!! no doubt any strain from trichome jungle seeds will be excellent

i dont see how its the perfect cash cropper if it takes 77 days. im glad i found that out cause that doesnt work for me i always make sure i dont go over 65 days. that 12 days equals alot of money lost at the end of the year

definately takes a little longer for this one. good yield tho. and yes, its really does look amazing. couldnt believe how much color and weight it puts on last week or two.
It makes up for it in yield. 2+ bows per 1k with BD...set up on a perpetual cycle and you won't notice any lost income. BD sells, and it sells quick. I've worked in a dispensary and the BD is the first to go because people love the smell, look and taste of it. I'd take the 12 day hit if it moves quicker.

I agree but....and this is where your argument breaks down.....no one will pay top dollar for BD anymore...at least not here in NorCal....it's got to be OG KUSH, GSC, top,notch hybrid diesels, or deep purples....just my two cents.

Yea BD wont get the prices that OG gets but OG doesn't yield the way BD does. A commercial grower is about growing in bulk and selling in bulk. S/He doesn't care about how much a lb goes for, they just wanna sell lbs and lbs. Ive said it before and Ill say it again, Phillip Morris would grow BD when weed becomes legal and big corp come into the game. BD is the Marlboro Lights of weed. Everyone will smoke it.
How did this turn into another "Let's Hate on Blue Dream" thread? I have had amazing Blue Dream and I have had schwaggy Blue Dream... Even the schwaggy dream tasted better than what most people I know smoke. Blueberry x SSH is ok in my book no matter what.
