i got a clone of king louie in july of 2011. I babied that thing FOREVER, finally got a cut to root of it, but it looked kinda scraggily as well. Its just now finally looking to have some vigor. So its basically been about a year for me to get somewhat vigorous growth on the louie... I think ill need to get a nice healthy clone off her in order for me to ever get to the stage/vigor i would want to flower

i must have the same cut, have had her for a good 4 or 5 months, got 1 good cut rooted so im flowering the origanal mom, it has streached real good and has filled up the 4ft vert screen in 2 weeks of flower, cant wait to see the finish. im having alot better luck rooting the legend cut than the king louie.

UHN / Avant - killer as per usual.

If Louie 13th is so weak, why don't one of you smack her with a vigorous male (or reverted female) of a proven line? Sounds to me like an excellent candidate for reversed Adub or Tahoe pollen or something along those lines..

After hearing all the talk of Louis being slow to root i was thinking the same thing. Of the 2 plants I got of it, one went to my buddy ( the one pictured) and I did an STS flip on the other. I have used the resulting pollen to hit my V-18 ( Valley OG x X-18).

Two things come to mind...either the cut we have down here some how is NOT the real thing or Something bad happened to the genetics of what we do have

Either way, what I'm seeing isn't making me want to devote a bunch of time / space to the resulting seeds of the V-18 x LouisXIII ( R) cross.

the cut we had down here was infested with broad mites and as a result became a wimpy "dud". Im almost certain thats why she has been so wimpy. I have zero doubt ill be able to get her back and vigorous and up to par with the other og's in the orphanage

Yep. Mine almost took the entire garden with her but now that it's clean is growing like crazy. Cuts are also now rooting fully in 8 days consistently

...is anyone around here old enough to remember when the saying was "my bag" instead of "my bad"? No pot pun intended..ha

hahaha.....definitely not "old" enough......

your socalxc99 beans i popped are looking really nice, seems like a medium to big yielder, sweet/candy/floral/incense smell, and sticky triched out. got a male too, so a second generation is in the works.

im waiting to run the adubb and compare it to the chem sis x sour dubb i have, if mine compares to it i will turn it loose, i can tell you its stickyer than the dubb and smells just like the dubb and vegges freakin fast, a perfect plant for vert screens

adubb is a sort of hashy slight diesel like smell. After a good cure it smells very much like sour diesel, except hashier. Maybe like a dirty sour diesely og smell. pretty faint. Most times the taste is more pronounced than the smell.

Dt7 smells very very much like the AlienDawg Ether. There is a sour dubble undertone in there though. But mostly a ether/turpentine paint thinner kind of smell. The DT7 definitely has a much much stronger smell. more "loud" for sure.
But the Adubb is really a gem because of its effects. Adubb is a 9 for strength, whereas DT7 would be a 7.

i did like the dt7 but it doeset work well for the vert screens, way to slow and not much stretch, sounds like the adubb would do better, will know in a few months

odubb was stronger than the dt7. so i guess you could call it a 8. Maybe a 7.5 is more accurate ;P

Of the three i prefer the flavor/smell of the odubb the most. the sour bubble comes through in that cut
