Absolutely bro! that's awesome. How many sites are you planning D?

Can you picture a 5 ft wall octagon with trees? how insane would that be.
:woohoo: Actually it might not be that beneficial with the penetration at such a great distance...:comfort:

Lol i'm happy you guys got the math figured w/o me... I'm not feeling so great, got some sort of bug that had me pukiing 2x already today... :(

You're running 1kw lamps... And if the plants are growing toward the light, and you trim up the bottom 12" of the plant that isn't getting shit for light... Well now that bring you a lot closer to the lamps. We're talking about the absolute furthest distance from the lamp being 6'... And growing closer. That's part of how you get an even canopy... The thing i don't like about 4 walls, is that the middle plants are closer to the lamps than the outer plants. How do the outer plants adapt to this? By stretching into the light. IF you don't overgrow your plants, the octagon w/ a higher plant count will outyield the square... But if you overgrow them, the octagon is less forgiving. I think that's the point Freds is making.

Im still gonna do 2x a minute air exchange. But they way im doing it is gonna be kinda different. Im mounting the mini split high inside the flower room. The exhaust fan will be sucking from the top through the carbon filter at 2x a minute and ducted right back down to the bottom of the room. The c02 generator will be mounted outside the room and ducted in also at the top. The way i see it, the room will be a loop of c02 enriched air conditioned air flowing from bottom to top. Exactly where you want the c02 is the underside of the leaves. The dehumidifier will be set on the ground in the center of the square the last weeks before harvest.

We shall see how it pans out.

Gonna fire off coco asap, add aero in spare time . so for now its three walls..
No ,i dont need big tube ....lol wife thinks i am over compensating!!
25000 btu ac and co2 burner, lots of plants...3x1000 watts what could go wrong?
...my pots will be around 23'' from lite, less when plant grows

Right on man. Yea with that ac i think you could scrap the tube. But you just have to run things and see where you stand.

As you can see ...im a much better student then i am a teacher. But if ya listen to guys like DHF and bobble, you cant go wrong.

Hey FHC,
The walls of bud you have looked so good I forgot to ask a question.
Are you seeing any difference after defoliation? Did you follow the rules or do some variation?

I have some plants in 20 gallon containers (coco) and was thinking maybe defoliating would slow the growth a bit and give me some better angles on the branches.

Maybe its my imagination, but to me your crop looks like its gonna be heavier this round, thanks...Hazed

P.S. anyone looking for 2 gallon buckets? I found them at "RASA Hydroponics" for 3 bucks each.

Its the new strain im runnin (adub) its stretchy and forms golf ball nugz from the base of the stem to to top. Yea i hope your right about this harvest being heavier, i think so too, from the looks of it...but will have to wait to see.

I defoliated one wall (gc) starting in veg to slow them down because that paticuilar strain grows very quick and would have outgrown my space. What it did was open the plant up to more nodes and budsites. Now its a couple weeks from harvest and the buds are swelling from the stem outwards...whereas before i always had 3-4 inch stems followed by plump buds that hung out and needed tying back. I like the results! That and just the typical pulling fans after stretch.

I hear ya about the air exchange. Im in the same boat with warmer weather on the way. I just had to take one of my 1ks out and replace with a 600 beacuse the temps have been slowly creepin up into the mid to high 80's. Now with that change im hovering at 80-82. I just need a few more weeks to get through this run and then i will have to get things sealed up.
