it is designed to get tough stains out of clothing...... but its BEST use is for eliminating rashes caused by poisonous plants.....

i have used every fucking thing in the book (except for steroid shot) and this soap works wonders....

thank me later!

most walmarts carry it! look in the laundry aisle!

no joke, youll be thanking me later!

it can be used @ any stage during the rash's life...

damn! now I wish I had me some poison ivy.......

i am not shitting you guys at all....

i have tried technu - IT BLOWS

i have tried alchohol - IT BLOWS - can scar you up too

i have tried almost every other product that is intended to eradicate poisonious plant rashes and none of them did SHIT....

but when I tried fels naptha, i was BLOW AWAY by what it did.... literally over night my rash that was once pussing and oozing like a muh fuckah was scabbed over...

I had gone on a week long hard core back packing/camping trip and the one night the (ex) wife and i decided to do the hanky panky in the tent....

well, that was a bad bad bad idea....

in the heat of the sex, i did not realize that my bare ass was on the tarp floor of the tent while the wife went for a ride!

my ass cheeks were smooshed onto that tarp....

I did not even care to think about how many times we walked on that tarp with our shoes that once trekked through all sorts of terrain....

the day i returned home from that expedition, my ass crack was itching me like a SON OF A BITCH! i just thought i had an itchy ass which is pretty common amongst human beings I would guess....

long story short, I had a HORRIBLE case of poison SOMETHING all over my entire ass, and into my rectum, down my cheeks, down my area between my sack and rectum, and all over my sack and shaft..

it was so bad because i couldn't let air get to it because i couldnt just go for days without wearing underwear and pants....

this all happened BEFORE i had known about the miracle elixir that is "FELS NAPTHA"

i had to wear tighty whities, boxers, athletic shorts, and jeans and the ooze and puss soaked right through it all....

when i discovered fels naptha i rubbed it all over the rash while in the shower along with a faloof puffy ball thingy, and 24-36 hours later the rash scabbed up and i was able to peel the scab off whole..... it was such a relief....

DO NOT GET POISON IVY ON YOUR ASSHOLE, IT IS NO FUN!!1

Holy crap I never thought of my dog getting it on her hair!! I have a small place where I deer hunt. I make certain that I don't touch anything bare handed but still get the crazy stuff and it really tears me up. Thanks for the heads up on that.

Oat meal baths & Benadryl (cream or pills) gets my vote. Hope you're feeling better soon. :ying:

Yeah good tips on dogs. Got to wash them if you're in an oaky area after getting back.
Burning it is a great way to really hurt yourself. The last thing you want to do is inhale that crap.
One of my buddy's whose property I stayed on for a summer up north was in it so much he became immune, other people are immune and lose it. The body works in mysterious ways.

Yeah steroids aren't really good for you but I've had to take them before when I've had it that bad and they will help the most the quickest.

Steroids are hella good for you!!! thats why athletes take them!!! if that many athletes are taking them, can they really be that bad for you?

damn at least its not pussing of oozing for me...just a redness rash with some small open sores. was in the fields all day today i know i got some more oil on me...but as soon as i got in i showered in cold water with lots of soap..then scrubbed all the areas with Zanfel for the 3rd time....then wash off again with cold water...then apply a lotion that has aloe and some other things that gives a nice sting at first but goes away and then i feel nothing..

hoping this shit clears up soon..

tecnu may clean the oil off like other soaps, just at 5x the price, therefore its a gimmik, just like every other product that is geared specifically for oak/ivy period.

Brush clearing and poison oak removal is my middle name, work in and around it all year every year, covered in it head to toe(face, ears, stomach, genitals, you name it) so bad I had to go to the hospital, not no 'I think I feel a slight itch', were talking multitude of one inch blisters exploding and oozing for weeks. Once you have a rash, nothing off the shelf is gonna help you besides maybe soothe the itching slightly, only thing that is gonna heal it is time, or steroids.

This is not me but is exactly what my leg looked like the time I really got it bad, as well as having it all over my body too. Try hollerin at a chic lookin like this!

There's no pus in those blisters, just lymph.

The best thing you can do if you know you've come into contact with poison anything is take a bathtub and dump a cup of bleach in it, then fill it with hot water, and get in.

It'll dry out your skin something horrible, but it strips the oil away from your skin, and destroys it. Firefighters who have to battle forest fires in the Carolinas use this method.

You know what weed I seriously hate? Far more than poison oak. I call it "motherfucker weed", but its common name is bull thistle. This shit goes right through leather gloves, leather shoes, FORGET about jeans protecting you! I remember when I was doing a lot of trail riding, how much I detested milk thistle, thought *it* was so bad. Milk thistle ain't got nothin' on bull thistle, I fucking HATE this stuff!

Z-ro, I was simply happy to find the Technu wash. That leg you posted up there? Try seeing your kids' faces like that, but also so swollen they're unrecognizable. Going to the doctors simply meant prednisone, which didn't treat the terrible itching they were suffering. Now that I know about Fels-Naptha (hope I got that right) I'm getting some next time I head down to Walmart.

I've got a positive story about poison oak. For decades I had a patch of psoriasis on my left shin that would resist all forms of treatment. It would flare up occasionally and get real bad and then subside, but it was always there. Itchy, flaky, inflamed...I learned to live with it, but nothing the dermatologists prescribed ever worked. Then, a few years ago I got my first bout of poison oak (never had it before), and guess what?

When the poison oak went away, so did my patch of psoriasis...and it has never been back. Weird, eh?

tecnu. wash, pills, and lotion. you wont ever get a bilster. I had to do some guerilla grows to get enough dough to go indoor.

tecnu or nothing....best shit ever.

another funny thing about poison oak is, no one is immune to it, and the more frequently you are exposed to it, the worse it gets...
