There is so much Love around here:)

Yeah... it's really disappointing to see people being this crappy.

Budman678, Carrvagio and anyone else that's interested.... you have a question, feel free to ask me directly. I'm not going to be a dick like some folks for pointing out the obvious.

You ask a question that's obvious to the folks that have been here a while... I'll give you a link, no problem.

Unless peeps haven't noticed... the icmag search function sucks ass and this thread is too long now.

"The beauty of the cannabis trade is that it, while providing the high risk/reward levels of any profitable illegal business, unlike most other illegal businesses is one that can be done without in any way compromising one's moral standing or principles. The provision of cannabis to the existing market is, almost uniquely among illegal business endeavors, potentially not tainted by the harm it does to others. It can be done in a completely ethical way- even if it isn't always, it can be."

negative rep me all you want Mr Helpful, i'll not return the favor.

...and you may think handing oversimple answers to lazy newcomers is the way to go but i do not, ...i believe it is better to teach people to be self-reliant and that means not taking the lazy way and asking questions for which aswers have already been provided MANY times.

"taste"

...you may be surprised to learn that there are some who are greatful to me for spurring them to become more proactive, ...they have truely learned the lesson that iit is better to SEARCH for your answers than it is to WAIT for them.

...so you keep giving people a single fish at a time while negative repping those of us trying to teach people how to fish for themselves, ...i guess you like being the giver of answers.

peace, SOG

I've read this ENTIRE thread twice. And that doesn't count all the times I went searching within the thread for information I had forgotten.

There are many "influential" threads on IC that run 100+ pages. And there's a benefit to sitting down, rolling a j (or packing a bowl, or vape, or whatever) and carefully, methodically digesting that information.

I often learn more from arguments between respected members than I do reading threads where people give "definitive" answers.

I couldn't agree more. This is the process I used to learn to grow before even turning on my first light. I stumbled on H G 420 years ago and did so much reading my eyes hurt before I built my first cab. The end result is I've never had a bad crop including my first.

I have read this entire thread, and I dont know if I was just didnt read it, or I couldnt remember lol... But this K.I.S.S. method is using the maxibloom with every watering, or every other watering? Right now I have it as every other watering and I have all the signs of K, P, Mg, and N deficiency. Thinking that if I do it every watering I will be able to recover my plants. Is that what you guys do, every watering?

Thanks Anti. I havent posted much here, but Ive used this website to gain all kinds of information. I was going to develop a cab based on yours and Dr.BudGreengenes, but since I decided to flower outside, I modified it a little. Thanks for your help and all your posts

A little more information would be helpful. How old are your plants? What medium are you growing in? How big are the plants? What kind of light are you growing under. Often, deficiencies can be a young plant being overwhelmed with nutrients and moisture. I've found on young clones, you have to pace them a little slower until they start showing some vigor.

Plants are just over 2 months old. They are growing outside in FFOF. They are pretty small, only about 8 inches tall, I topped them a bunch. After about 3 weeks it seemed they were not getting any more nutrients through the soil, thats why I started using maxibloom but I only used it every other watering. They have perked up and look good, but still dont look perfect, and I think that is the key.

Give em time to acclimate.. sounds like you're on the right track..

What size microscope would you recommend to check the preflowers? I see them forming but its too hard to see what they are right now. I bought a 60x-100x and its way to hard to see lol.

get a 30x handheld for the close in work, ...you should be able to hold it steady enough to get a clear look, ...it also helps having a 10x loupe for casual looking, ...it's easy to use and will give you surpising detail for general decisions, then you only need the 30x to confirm what the 10x has already told you.

SOG

here's a link to Amazon where you can get the scope i own for under $10.00USD.

...and a loupe, also at Amazon. (this is more expensive but it's also much higher quality, if you search around you can find lesser ones but with optics it is really true that you get what you pay for)

I prefer the watchmaker style loupes.

http://www.penntoolco.com/catalog/products/products.cfm?categoryID=767

I'm a machinist by trade and use these daily at work. The reason I like them better is you can put them right up to your eye and it helps block any light coming at your eye. I can actually put it between my face and eyebrow and use it hands free.

Typically I only use a 10x loupe but that all depends on your "eye" for detail. Using these things daily at work I've got good at picking up details even at 10x.

You won't be disappointed as they are the best that money can buy in my experience. I should add also that the Hastings style is the one I was referring to. They are pretty expensive when compared to others but well worth the money to me. The other ones listed there are good also but not as focused and clear. I bet after you try the Hastings style 10x you won't have any need for your 30x.

The cheapest I've found them online is in the mid $40 range. Radio Shack normally carries them but I don't know what they charge. I get mine through work. :D

Edit:

I did some digging for a better link and not a bad price. http://www.ottofrei.com/store/product.php?productid=6982
