Thanks Bench Warmer. Is yours a heavy feeder? I have hit her pretty good with nutes and she is always asking for more. lol She already has a nice grapefruit/minty smell if you rub the stem.

about sw3 . Mine happened the same. One of them didn't have second pair of leaves and stands there just with cotyledons...ouch!
the other 3 mutants are slowly vegging, but got a normal asset of new leaves.
2 are doing fine.
can't wait for the smell to show...

I know of a similar experience trying to grow out some Swt#3 F2's that were about 7 years old. Many seeds didn't germ at all, of the seeds that did germ half only had cotyledons with no proper leaves. Only a few had normal growth. I'm confident the problem was the seeds being too old.

With fresh seeds its back to 100% germing with no mutants other than the occasional plant that looks exactly like PistilPete's in post #122. I presume that it is a blueberry trait coming through. The two mutants i've seen never reverted to normal growth, they had the mutant leaves all through veg. In flower they turned out to be male and were composted.

@GrownOut - Yeah bro, this plant seems to chug the ferts without hesitation. She responds in kind by blowing up big with those frosty grapefruity flower clusters we're all looking for.

I had 2, got lucky, 1 male 1 gurl
she's been a true trifoliate since birth
then I got blasted with the broad mites and they ravaged that crop pretty good, lost the swt#3 male.

I put the lady out and she is fully recovered now
and pushing about 6ft.
the smell on the cola's take me the 70s sweet sinsey smell,
the cola's are finally starting to swell on her.
I'm going to do air layering techniques on a few branches
and see if I can get her reveg'd.
and I got another freebie pack from the boo, I may still get a chance to get a male and mybe more gals too!

Way to save your girl the gnome. I hope you get the male you want for making more seeds. Definitely worth preserving the strain for the sheer size and positive effect.

Looking really nice GrownOut. I wish I could figure out how to take sharper pics with my cheapo camera.

My girl has 2 or 3 more weeks to go.
Talk about a monster strain!! She did get a spot of powdery mildew but I immediately treated the spot with 3% H202 (thanks to SOTF420 for that tip and placed a strong fan directly on it to dry the H2O2 off the affected area.
That was over a week ago and she seems fine.

The Gnome glad you still got that female going at the very least. My males wont drop pollen its sterile so I got to chop it down. Still have a chance to find another especially now that I have another female.

Just returned to the web after a little while with no p.c, the only thing that I have to report is that I decided to germ my 5 SwT#3 seeds, I just couldn't hold out any longer!

Only managed to get 1 out of 5, but that seems to be the way it goes with these seeds, and I am more than happy to get the one plant, I just hope the canna gods smile on me and I end up with a nice female to add to my mother collection, otherwise I'll be doing a lot of pollen chucking!

Here is mine getting close to the end. Everyone agree? I figured I should start flushing so two more weeks on carbs should beef her up the rest of the way. Would put it around 9wks, right now its on week 7.

love swt#3 got a few backs when it was first released I mean the first batch.

all were uniform and perfect loved the cut I had I was offered a original pak of beens again from the first release and im gunna grabm.

STEVE told me not to top it fyi never experimented
