Quick update:

  • Clear tubing has been completely covered with black duct tape.

  • 78 1/4" elbows have been inserted into the two tiers. They are spaced as evenly as possible, approximately 3.7" apart from one another all the way around each tier. (Used a drill to make pilot holes and then crammed elbows in by force to hopefully maintain pressure and minimize leakage. Took WAY LONGER than I ever would've guessed to get it all done to my satisfaction.)

  • I went ahead and ordered some of those basket-stakes and I'm waiting on them to arrive before finishing up with the tubing.

  • My moms are still recovering from a timer mishap so they aren't ready to provide me with clones but I'm hoping they'll be ready by the time the table is ready for prime time. To accelerate their recovery, they've been repotted into larger containers and put back under the CMH lamps. I have 8 of them (all clones of the same original Serious AK47 from my first run in my microcab), so I need about 10 viable clones from each one.

Hope your basket stakes are made well and don`t snap on yas as Bobbles had problems with Anti....but ...

No shit....once yas find where to bury em as in shallower or deeper for total saturation where each outside spread meets the ones on each side of em without overspray so the pumps don`t haveta be on as long and no more juice is wasted than absolutely necessary......that`s money.... .....

As the juice hits the stakes and sprays sideways 360 degrees it also dribbles down the X pattern the stakes are formed in ta take care of the medium directly below the stakes and saturate medium faster so again less juice is wasted.....

As long as dripclean`s implemented in the feed regimen , DTW`S a thing of the past and all runoff is just juice wasted , but with timed feeds there`ll always be runoff so just tryta dial down the time it takes the pumps to achieve total saturation and minimum runoff ftw....and.....

However many feed sequences it takes during lights on to achieve total "moistness" without over or underwatering will be the big "X" factor in dialage ta bust the gpw`s .......especially in late flower when they`re drinkin and swellin ta be all they can be.......

Good luck A.....DHF....:ying:.....

Still waiting for those damn stakes. The areas that got holes drilled in them were repainted after gluing. A fine mesh (non metal) screen has been mounted over each drain. (This will keep perlite/coco from running down the 1.5" drain holes). As soon as the drip spikes show up I'm going to fill it with medium add all the drip spikes and take it for a test drive.

My moms are starting to show some signs of life. Hopefully I'll be able to get some clones cut sooner rather than later.

NOOB TIP #35: if you decide to try a new lighting schedule (like 12 on/5 off/1 on/6 off) make sure you don't set your timer to do 12 off/5 on/1 off/6 on or your moms WILL start to flower and will take a fucking month or more to revert back to vegetative growth.

Hope they arrive soon, Anti! Don't know about anyone else but I'm really looking forward to your run, test drive it to see how long you need for feeds etc.

Yes these are CMH.

I can't put any blame on the CMH or on the strain. I have to blame it on grower inexperience in coco and not getting his watering automated the first go round.

What are they like to smoke? They get me really stupid high.

They burn really smooth. Only issue is that I'm used to nodes growing into each other and basically creating one fat, dense cola all the way down the plant.

I always smoke my harvest from worst to best. So I keep the best of it until the end. I haven't even touched any of my tops yet.

The larfiest shit will become hash "suppositories" once I get around to making them.

No matter. I'm gonna get this table hummin' as soon as my moms recover. Next round will run 12/12 from the beginning with no veg. (Which is how I ran things in my microcab with the same genetics.)

I'll run 1 minute floods DTW as many times a day as necessary (my timer will do up to 20 per day).

I expect some surprises but I think this next round (when it finally takes off) will blow the first round away. With the same genetics.

Dial that shit homie....I`ll be over here on my bucket....however many feeds per 12 hrs to achieve and maintain total moistness will take a lil dialin in but still babyshit....

Straight from rooted cut 12/12 could possibly give em lumenshock with HID lighting , but that`s all part of the game.....trial and error...

I always pre-vegged mine couple weeks or so to acclimate em to higher wattage , but maybe the ak`s can handle it......

Pullin for yas....DHF....:ying:....

I've got another batch of coco/perlite that I'm working on so that I can fill the tables up to the top. Tomorrow I will hook the pump up and take it for a test drive. It's gonna be a couple of weeks (at least) before I have any clones to run, but I figure I can find and fix any leaks and get some practice with my 1 minute floods with plain water before I start running nutes down the drain.
