I have read this whole thread and think it's awesome. I am interested in the Strawberry/Durban cross. Do you have pics of this CHACO?

Very nice! I just switched to using coco to grow. Do you have any insights? Anything would be much appreciated. I noted that coco is lighter than soil when dry and easier for me to move when my back is out. And after seeing your grows and another growers done in coco I decided to phase out soil. We'll see how it goes.

Be well CHACO

Best coc advice I could give would be to keep the ph at 5.8 and water all the damn time no matter what anybody tells you.Plants on drippers are 2X the size and yield of hand watered and double your container size and you will triple the plant size, I could go on but it might bore the public...These Larry/Nevilles plants are remarkably consistant, very big, huge yields and high sativa style strength. One plant had 10 tops like these, some 3 gal pots had plants with 24oz...

I can't remember if I posted this one but the bud above came from this plant.I cut it yesterday at 103 days, it was over done, certainly...

My plants drink a ton of water, everybody says "let the coco dry out" well I say you don't have enough light, my plants dry out as soon as I water them, I have mothers that need 1/2 gal 2x a day just to survive and flowering plants that need 2gal/day, no shit but hey, what do I know, more light=bigger better higher yielding plants that drink like crazy...anyway I have these Strawberry HillX Sams Thunk I hope this grow will get all the monkeys off my back who leave me messages(not Fluffy!) about whose haze is best, let ME smoke the plants please...3 nice females preparing to be 9ft tall...

Shit, I sound like an overworked asshole in that post! I am a bit drained from the last run, all those big plants, running in circles forever, is this cut alive? Is this seedling dying? Whats in that bottle, shit those plants are dry drying out, damn I said koolbloom not dyna-grow...anybody that says this isn't exhausting lives in another world, I'm blown out...and I have 8 huge ass plants that need a home today, so far 2 are in and clean, 6 to go.I usually swing by here when I take a break or need an idea.Sometimes I need to blow off some steam before I find a new idea, the layouts don't just fall in my lap!:)

Thanks for the advice, will do. Plants with 24oz, that's a pound and a half! Well your method speaks for its self. I grew outside this year for the first time and learned a lot. I noticed you string up your buds. I didn't do that and paid the price in yield. I lost a lot to fall worms and bud rot due to rain. The Tom Hill haze produced the best outside and the Pineapple Thai too. I also had god bud, red diesel, xj13, blue hash plant, NL5/Hz, ortega, critical widow, and lots of mango haze phenotypes. All of it got seeded by one mango haze male that I used to pollinate a couple of plants with indoors. I wasn't very careful as my back was out and I didn't care. Pretty cool I guess to have mango crosses of everything. Just thought you would get a kick out of that.

I always find it funny when peeps try to tell other peeps what the "best" anything is. Especially when it comes to food, drink, art, and cannabis....there can only be opinions. No ultimates....they just do not exist. So many peeps annihilate themselves with opinions of regurgitated opinions....and then feel the need to justify themselves for their own sense of security. Give themselves a cause.

When it comes to Hazes....some of these peeps are over the top with their opinions and loyalty to one seed maker or another. Sounds like they want to fight over it....make you see it their way. Retarded. Who invented what?....in what year?...in what location?....mostly senseless dribble. I don't understand why peeps just can't relax and grow what they want...and not have to push their genetic fancy or agendas. That's a hell of lot more truthful.

CHACO....probably one of the most well rounded and experienced growers on the boards. Dude can grow it all...and does....what are you really going to tell him? What opinion do you really have to offer that YOUR experience can back up?

Well, let me tell ya', I ran out of papers this morning, first problem, second problem is burnout, I'm certainly not mad at anybody but the Haze teams are a tough group and it takes waaaayyyy too much time to grow these things, smoke enough to have a decent opinion and come back, somebodys mad because 9 weeks isn't long enough to cure when I just spent half a year growing, curing past 4 weeks is over rated, sometimes it's too long and weed goes to shit...This place is the only place I hide for solace, once thats gone I'm cutting the cable wire...I always overgrow myself, I def grew too much this year I bet half won't even get smoked, all sinsemilla I have QP's stacked up like cordwood and rows of jars...That's the thing about hazes we should all agree on, they always take care of business and overgrow ya', they laugh at the bugs and rot and you end up crippled from cutting...Great time of year, a/c in the day and heaters at night.Put 2 5ft plants into flower yesterday and squeezed one more in today, here we go again at least buds make great worm piles!!:)You can see the gap in my veg room where I pulled out the big plants, only 3 to go, I hate leaving a post without a pic...

Absolutely wild. I myself have 1/2gal jars of mixed shit stashed and hidden everywhere. I hardly ever separate the stuff I grow anymore...it all gets mixed into whatever vacant jar there may be available. I can't keep up with all the crosses...just label and separate the really interesting expressions for breeding progressions. I really don't like weed that has been jarred for more than a few months.

Being committed to "only bean"....I don't see how anyone can judge a line on a 10 bean drop....particularly lines (like some Haze) that have a low % of choice phenotypes and a fair chance at finding hay. Sometimes I feel growers are really reaching with their plants...telling themselves they are better than they really are...particularly on the lengthy investment types.

Didn't mean to sound harsh to anyone either...but I kind of weird out when I think about a dude rolling out primo shit...that...he made and loves...plus creaming his grows big....being advised to grow anything else. It's like shit man....the dude is already killing it...why fuck with the program?

Killer thread...killer genetics...killer grows

I'm not sure what all this means but I was just giving my experience, limited as it is. I am new, only 2 years growing, and I am impressed with CHACO's grows. I know nothing and am not pretentious enough to act like I do. Mixing Mango Haze with different strains was a pleasant accident. A mistake a non-breeder such as myself would make.
I am definitely convinced to buy some Nevs Haze now though thanks to CHACO. :yummy:

Dawn,( oh, I love the comment about your back and not caring if you seeded, classic for me!) we weren't referring to you at all, just the diff haze teams that leave me crazy messages about how I should run my OP.Nothing offensive but some teams like Greenhouse will hound you with all sorts of nonsense, then others tell you this or that and believe me I'm here to learn, my 4yrs here have been better than the 4 I spent in grad school. The best thing about growing is doing it solo, no partners, your decisions, your weed. There must be some economy behind these comments, follow the money they say but how much $ can you really make from seeds?? guess I'm in the dark on that but I take all comments, all pics...I havn't made it this far by not listening!:) I never dispell advice, good or bad.

Yeah dude..my posts were not directed at you. Everyone should be impressed and respect what C has done here in this thread...I'm most sure he is influencing a lot of growers. Rightfully so.

My posts were meant as a general poke at anyone that would try to steer C away from his vision of what he considers his favorite stuff to work with.

That's cool you guys, my mistake but thanks for clearing that up. I grew some NL5/Hz this summer and the one that finished early was fantastic, or so my wife says. There wasn't much of it because my back was out so it got stuck in a 1 gallon pot outside. One small jar and my wife didn't even wait for it to cure. It was gone in like 2 days! She loved it and I'm sorry I didn't make clones. I gave half the seeds to a buddy so I can't drop more. It smelled exactly like SSH and my wife had the exact same bombed out happy reaction. I find it interesting that most of the haze types I've grown take 13-14 weeks but then there is that 9 week one in there. People harp on me to stop taking up space with hazes but the haze types really help my wife's PTSD. I grew out all the Mango Haze I received this spring and it was a big mistake. I should have grown them in 5s and found the keepers as I went. I was too overwhelmed and the grow suffered.

These grow forums are unbelievable.I don't think there is anything not sex related or political that generates soo much real interest and response from people worldwide. Is there a beer makers forum that has the action our MJ forums have, it amazes me how huge the interest is and how many better people I've met via these forums, they beat the hell out of my real life cohorts:).

Fun House Mirror...

Fun House Mirror...

This is gonna be some truly exotic herb! :rasta:

The odor is very ... unique ...

I have no explaination for the fact that the odor triggers a very distant and fragmented childhood memory...
I'm in a dimly lit doctor's waiting room... running around w/ my lil bro, like boys do (I'm maybe 6 yrs old)...
theres a side room that is nearly completely dark...and is completely empty.
Except for this single giant crazy wavy Fun House Mirror... :wtf:

... Totally psychedellic / trippy memory ... :abduct:

:dunno:
