Your not far wrong with the "trees" thing lol since whacking them in the 15 litre autopots with airdomes they went mental, really thick trunks with loads of colas per tree. Thanks for kind words my friend

Week 8 update

Week 8 update

I think I am busier now with tieing and supporting the buds than I was with the training in veg and flower lol
The macro shots are the Las Vegas Purple Kush which is pretty much ready now but I want to see if it fattens up any more in week 9 as not the best yielding strain I have but covered in trichs.

edgey: Thanks mate, and I prefer my home made scrog to nets and screens as I can adapt mine and also as its on wheels its easy to move about. I also don't have much height in this room so all the buds get equal light I rotate the trolleys so different buds get as much light as possible. Cropping is also made easier with the larger holes and also access to the fan leaves at mesh height where easier to get to.

Pics are only week 5 but the colas are already fat, I will use autopots forever now

My mate Farmer G on there is doing a cracking job with Nelly and there are still loads of people who want her but cannot have her
The PK smells dank with fruity under tones, I will see how she smokes, but might not run her again due to new stock and need the room.

Thanks mate, I would deffo recommend the autopots to anyone now, I am using the airdomes in them to with an inch of clay pebbles on bottom of pot, I have not tried without yet but I will just to see if they make a difference.

Cheers mate, they are just so easy to maintain and give great results with just checking ph levels in the reservoir everyday and making sure topped up, specially as I run a dehumidifier in their through the night, I go through about 70 litres in 3 days. It keeps the res fresh though I also flume the water which gives better dissolved oxygen levels in the water compared to an airstone, and cause less fluctuation in PH readings.

Week 9 Update.

Week 9 Update.

I have noticed that the Las Vegas Purple Kush and the Psychosis are starting to throw out more white pistils and buds are appearing on buds lol which is nice.
There are a lot of leaning buds in there now and some are leaning against the walls lol, so I don't fancy puling out the trolleys to watch the buds fall, just so I can tie them all up again, so I am ow leaving them where they are until crop 5th November.
Next time I run a scrog I will be adapting frame to allow for a second screen of string to support the buds, and will probably just be running the one strain under it I have been offered something special for SCROGGING

Rollit mate I know your going to be asking for pics of my other room, so I have done a few but lights out make better pics, so will try and get some better ones later. The other room are the last four pics as well as a macro of the Bluejack for you They are only at the beginning of week 6 flower and are fooking massive lol .

As I have said a few times now the growth in autopots so far is the best I have come across for coco, just look at this picture of the bottoms of my flowering plants
I will get something to use as a size scale soon, and take pics with lights out to give a better idea.

fkin ell they did take off, thats a fair canopy, bloody stretch for ya, it happens, but youve got some big ass Colas in there for your trouble. If it were me, i'd try to tie a wire straight through the middle of the colas, & counter tie any falling ones to that, thats what ive done in the past when thats happened, it worked OK. between those 2, your gonna have a smart yield me thinks.
You can see the AP plants are monsters mate.

fwiw, when ive counter tied colas as mentioned above, i used lengths of twisty tie(doubled into a long loop) & a hook stick & lasooed the back ones as i couldnt get to em, could only reach in to the middle, but that worked too , wasnt a problem tying off to the middle wire then.
