So you are saying that based on my measurements I likely have 100mg of cannabis extract per capsule? If so, that's good to know. I hope to get these into the hands of a chemo patient who doesn't like the idea of using cannabis so the more specific information I have the better.
Also, having not been without tolerance and also not a chemo patient I'm not sure what sort of dose is good to recommend this person. What would be your guys' opinions on that?
thats pretty crazy was it all properly decarbed... i mean when i first made them i ate half a gram and i was incapacitated and i dont think im a light weight considering i smoke oz a week almost

15-25mg is a good start point i think for someone with no cannabis experience...
For someone with no experience, 15-25 could give a pleasant strong high or it could be terrifying and overwhelming. I've seen a few beginners experience a mild panic attack from one big hit of top quality bud. Some people are just more sensitive to the effects than others.
I'd start with 5 mg per pill first; they can always take more than one if needed. If someone needs 3 or 4 of these weak pills, you can always move to a higher concentration with the next batch. Someone who experiences an accidental "overdose" their first time might not want to try cannabis again.
true, cant untake the pill, and eating does nothing to kill the buzz infact i would say it can intensify it...
my sense of proper dosage is probably skewed due to my tolerance level...
A little over a week late for my 2nd review. So to start, the bho pills I made are 285mg and I took one before going to the fair. Oh yeah! I took a canna cookie with me that are very strong too.
Before leaving the house I popped the pill on an empty stomach and waited about an hour and a hlf before I ate anything. After lunch I ate the cookie (btw, was so nice eating the cookie in public with no fear of getting busted....non medical state). After another 30 minutes or so I started feeling high. Not too powerful, just right. After another2 or 3 hours I left the fair and went to eat again. At dinner I drank 2 beers that helpEd to lift me more.
Next I went home and took it easy after a day outside. Smo,ked a bowl here and there. Although the bed was calling my name, I was able to function fine for the rest of the day. I did sleep well that night though.
I would have to say that the pills were excellent! For most i would say they would be to strong, but I do have a high tolerance. Gave a couple to a friend and cautioned him on how strong they are and suggested thinning them out a bit so he could have more caps and they wouldn't turn him off of them. We will see if he will listen.
All in all I would have to say that I am very pleased with this recipe and that going forward I will most likely make them 100mg each just to have more, but to also make them for more of an everyday use. These were real nice, but way too much for an everyday Adventure.

Excellent! I agree, I have made batches where the average person would have a mental breakdown! Always better to start off light, you can always eat more. Glad they worked for ya!!!

slow i just wanna say i love these things i use qwiso from material i already bho'd (love the flavor of the ti pad to much to use my bho) my last batch was 4.5g's to 10mil mct it gave me 17 pills and i fuckd around and took 2 right after makin them holy fukn shit it was the highest ive ever been almost to high and i never thought those words would come out my mouth
i gave 1 each to 4 ppl at a wedding including the bride and groom while i took 1.5 bout 2.5 hrs b4 the wedding they where a hit when i asked the groom to say "i do" he was pretty much zombiefied i had to nudge him to bring him back so he would answer 
my biggest challenge is gettn the mct oil to steady off at 250 it takes me bout 30-40 min playn with temps on the stove to get it to sit in that spot then i add the oil after 6 batches ud think id have it down but its so easy to over heat then gotta wait for it to come down without goin to low and adjust

for the thread this is the only way ill eat it ever again cuz i cant stand canna taste n food and i love how long it last also gotta love the hash tasten burp thats how i know its gettn ready to kick n

Glad you enjoy them! I find the best way to keep temps stable is to use a really small mason jar and tilt it to the side. It is not much liquid, so if you tilt it to the side it seems to stay more stable. Anyhow, they work good and you dont have to eat anything. Let me know how the next batch does. Later

ive been eating 2 of these a day for months now sometimes I just eat 1. I make mine so they're about .33 bho per pill. I'm kinda following another tech, but I do use the mct. I've been able to cut back on vaping a ton. My goal is to get to where I can rely on medicating with these and pretty much stop vaping concentrates for the most part. Only problem I have is if I take em without food in my stomach I get bad stomach pains and diarrhea.
So after I made my1st batch (and my only one to date), there was a couple of drops left so I went ahead and made 1 more cap. It looked to me like a cap that was full and then drained and only what was left clinging to the side walls remained in the capsule. And that didn't even coat the the whole cap, so I'm guessing 25mg-50mg at best. I gave it to my wife and 7 hours later she is still going good. I weigh my tolerance was that low. I gave 2-285mg capsules to a friend and advised him to get some capsules and make each one into about 6 capsules for him, otherwise he would be tooooooooo high of these. He had a bad night with one of my 220mg cookies, lol. So this would obliterate him!
I just finished my outdoor harvest and I got a couple ounces of BHO to try this with again. Can't wait to get a good nights sleep again.
Thanks, that is just off the trim. I have to say, my BHO from this season is top grade. When I was making these pills early this year I was making it from 2 or 3 year old trim that I bought off of somebody for pennies. Worked well but nothing like my BHO from this harvest. I wonder if it will make a big difference or not. I will let you guys know when I get around to making them again. I might have just found my weekend project......
slowandeasy - Where did you get your pill filler? The thing that holds the pills while you make them? It is very hard to do by yourself and I got an ounce of BHO cooking right now. Was hoping target or some place like that but I can't find it on google.
Got a diabetic or a heroin addict in the family? Use a 1cc syringe to fill the pills, it easy and makes a clean job of filling gel-caps.
No thanks CannaBunkerMan. I use a eye dropper. However it is hard to fill the caps by your self. I am making 100's of these so it really helps to speed things along. I am picturing a tray with 100 holes in it, just deep enough to hold the bottom half of a pill. Place bottom of caps in, use eye dropper to fill without having to hold pills, then cap them all. I know I can make something with wood/plastic and a drill bit. Was just hoping they made something like this at a major store I could go and pick up today. I see them all over the internet.

You can make one by drilling a bunch of holes in a piece of wood...or search for capsule filler on Amazon, you'll find it
