When I was growing I never sold.Mine was for personal use only. Now Im not saying I didnt never GIVE it away, you know what goes around comes around. But I never sold to anyone,I did want to get a nice stash stored up for later.
I am patiently waiting for prohibition in this draconian state to be laid to rest.

Woo Hoo up to 13 co sponsors now,but we still need more on board.Maybe we need to do another campaign to fill everyones mailbox with support on this bill again, let them know we havent forgot about it and neither should they?

Well, the bill HR2306 has been forwarded to a new committee.
Aug 25, 2011: House Judiciary: Referred to the Subcommittee on Crime, Terrorism, and Homeland Security.
here is the link
http://www.govtrack.us/congress/bill.xpd?bill=h112-2306

I did some fact checking last nite on all the reps in the committee. In my humble opinion, its pretty well done and over with now.I would say the majority are hard lined against removing the prohibition on marijuana, altho there is several newbies that could go either way as they have no track record to see.
So maybe we just need to get a campaing going to let them know how we in the community feel about and show our support. If I had any idea how to get this restarted again I would work on it.I am still keeping a positive note on this.

I'm surprised to see so much support on a site with so many growers. Wouldn't the end of federal prohibition put you guys out of business?

I was a heroin addict for 18 years, a thief.....scum ass criminal--
I have been off it for over 15 years now...and haven't done 1 crime in that whole time...EXCEPT for growing and selling weed--
I work for a Collective, and grow on a fairly large scale, and I am paid pretty good for that, altho I also grow at home, and sling some to my friends--
I'm not saying this because of bragging....I am saying it, because more than anything, I don't want to be a "Criminal"!!! I really, really don't want to go back to prison!!
Legalization will make that happen--
I am not worried about not being able to make $$ (legally!!) if legalized....vegetables are legal, anybody can grow them...yet the Grocery stores, and Farmers make millions on them every year--
IMHO, Legalization on a Federal Level, will open up more jobs, and generate more $$ from cannabis, than there is now--
I just wish all my fellow Growers could see this...and vote for taking the title of "Criminal"...off our shoulders--:tiphat:

The status quo won't let it be legal anytime soon.

Sorry bro, that is what ppl say because they don't want to put the effort into trying-- Not saying that is your motivation, no disrespect intended...but right now, Cannabis Prohibition is EXACTLY in the spot that Alcohol Prohibition was...before it was ended-- The People are tired of it, and the States are starting to reflect that-- The Feds are strong...but not indestructible-- :tiphat:

RIP DR JAY

I guess my point was that the politicians in place now don't want it to change. Overall the American people are tired of the BS being shoved down our throats. We are tired of seeing our friends and family being thrown in jail. So no disrespect taken from ya Kmk420kali. I ,too, long for a day that this another prohibition will be lifted.

I wrote one of my Senators asking if he would support this bill. I got a canned response back referring to MJ as a dangerous drug.

...or for that matter even knowing WTF is going on around them. I mean you get a congressman from the far right, and the far left to sponsor a bill you would think even the Senators would take a little notice.

Not my guy. He's a putz. I wrote him back a seven page letter siting studies and anecdotal reports, but the last line was probably the only thing he cared about. I told him he'd lost my vote, and every vote I could personally affect.

Thats the same thing I get from my senators and representitives is the same old canned response.
We here in indiana have a bill going thru the state to change the laws on marijuana,I wrote donnelly a letter in support for it and his response was,its against federal law.Now how is that for a canned response,I spose with that answer he prolly felt he didnt have to take a stand 1 way or the other. He is a putz as well,I think he has just been in office to damn long but he gets reelected every time, not with my vote tho.I always vote against him just for that reason. If he was to change his mind on marijuana I would prolly vote for him he does do some decent things for indiana, but his current stance on marijuana isnt working for me.

maybe it would be helpful if we could compile all these politicians who obviously don't give a shit about actual information and hold hard and fast to rhetoric. Then we could flood them with emails and calls, and tell them they lost another vote. ?

well i would spread the letter to other sites first, so they(govt) cant narrow it down to just some hippies on a fringe site.
