Ive had 3 diff phenos of jack the ripper(ripoff) in one block. Hermies in one of them, no extra charge. I boycott BlueSky on general principle for the owners pot nazi powergrabbing initiative. I thought you people knew NOT to shop there already. Their clones suck as bad as their 'business model'

I picked up twenty b/s sour grapes and one cube had something else in it . I don't know what it is .Super frosty but ridiculously wimpy yield. the sour grapes are looking very good but only average yields.I always number and clone all my cuttings from clubs. You can't rely 100% on any of them imho.

Super frosty & low yield... Did it smell earthy or tomatoey? Did it have big fat indica leaves & a thick stalk? Could be DC x SC.

How are the xxxchem coming compared to the others? It's a good yielder & great smoke, easy to grow outdoor, and fast in veg.

I clone that one for clubs, so I have a bias.

Didnt think BS was still doing the DCxSC, if they are I would like to know as its some great night time meds. I just finished up Mendo Afgoo and it came out really frosty w/ a low yield and its one of BS newer stains.

Well here she is. Looks a little more purple in the photos than it really is. Smell is nice slight skunk lemon fruit earthy. It could be some Dc cross.I thought some sort of OG maybe.
The xxxChem looks to be vigorous. Possibly lanky. I've only just put one tester into bloom and it was about 9" tall. No outdoor for me anymore unfortunately.

ridgedogs- I'm guessing that is Afgoo.

Here is my Afgoo from BS- more in my album:

Not a great yielder but real frosty. Didnt stink much in flower but has a sweet/fruity smell while drying, I just cut her two days ago.

I'm hoping she will be heavy eyelids/couchlock/body relaxation.

So same strain, but two different pheno's? Are you saying that you got two different marijuana strains from Blue Sky in the same 4x4 cube? Were these grown in the same room & consistently watered & fed at the same time?

I don't know if it's general practice with BSky or not, but that's been my experience. It seems they will have a main clone or two in a cube, rooted, then they'll add cuts in after the fact. So you'll end up with a single rooted clone or two with the others unrooted. And in this case, it seems they just used random cuts as the filler.

Blue Sky surely has some "pros", but this is definitely one of the "cons" they need to work on.

Anyway, I had hoped someone could help me identify these, especially with such unusual characteristics (massive fan leaves, etc). It'd be nice to know what I've got.

Would you mind writing a paragraph or two about that (the statement above that's in bold)?

Well Don Juan I can confirm that my cuts from Harborside are genuine GDP. Started turning Purple at about 4.5 wks:dance013:. Also through the start flower it almost had a lemony smell but that has changed and smells like the funk I know and love. I still haven't chopped them yet but it's getting close.:smokeit:

Glad to hear it...:) Any updates on this? I'll bet you've made some progress on the GDP with your bong :)

Didn't you mention that you were going to next try the Lifesaver, the Hindu Kush (I think) and some Blue Dream? I'd love to catch an update.

Anyhow, good to see you, Agent! Hope you come back. :)

I don't want to upset anyone here, but i think that's nonsense. I actually wish it was true.
More likely bs is putting six cutting into one cube. For whatever reason(nature) one of the cuttings roots faster than all the rest. The bs guys see roots coming out of the bottom of the cube & decide it's time to sell it.
For the customer it really doesn't matter much. If you purchase a cube of six & get them home, find that only one is rooted, you're boned.
It's impossible to tell witch clone from bs is fully rooted until you cut the 4x4 cube apart. They aren't going to change the way they clone plants, so it's always a crap shoot. In my experience they are usually all rooted, but I haven't purchased anything from bs for years. Two to three years ago when I was getting cuts there (whenever I had my clones fail) I always got the genetics I paid for.

Sorry but you are incorrect. I bought 4 cubes of Sour Grapes and have two plants that are definitely different. I'm not bashing B/S. I just think they are like every other club that I've gotten clones from. Things get mixed up or mislabeled or some schmoe just doesn't care that particular day. I always number all my clones from any club and that's saved me alot of grief.

XXX is lanky, just like everything in that family, head band, chem dog, og kush. If you're room has good temp controls I think you'll find it produces above average & has a better high and taste than the rest.

But again I have a bias.

Skoob, there was some debate on here about what xxxchem was. I heard it was a cross between three Chemdogs someone else said Sweet Tooth x chemdog. Do you know? Btw my tester is looking good. Fast grower which I like.:dance013:

I don't respond to its420s' stuff any longer, as whoever they are has their own reasons for spreading their misinformation.

ridgedogs-

those pics you posted of your mystery plant look like nothing that is carried, as it looks like a mix of dcxsc & sweetooth without the large fan leaves each of those strains produce. it also looks like blueberry as well, matter of fact I tend to lean on the bb

you mentioned out of 4 cubes, so 22 with 2 mystery or 18 & 6 mystery, which fits the bill?

skoob - I find that works best is giving those cubes 3-5 days of 7-20 watts of fluorescent light + ph'd h20 while in quarantine, then roots are exploding everywhere, then transplant.

there was more I was going to say, but having a bad pain day, not 100%.

Karmical I got 4 cubes of Sour Grapes. The mystery strain is actually my favorite smoke at the moment. I'm not good at describing taste but I would say its somewhat sweet and lemony. The stone is strong and sedating.I'm very methodical about # and labeling all cuts from clubs as individuals so there's no doubt in my mind where it came from just curious as to what it is. Your Purple Kush smells like heaven and I'll bet when I get to smoke it it'll be kill. Funny because I bought Somas A+ and Soma Lavender at H/S at the same time as your PK and they are exactly the same plants. Someone was renaming your PK.It's all good though. I treat club clones as seeds and don't over commit until tested.
