Not ten minutes ago, single chopper, white with blue and red stripes. Couldnt get the #, but it was close enough that I could see it very clearly along with the passengers in the chopper. I thought for a second they were just going to land and come say hi. Any ideas? Im in the 209, very small backyard set up, less than 30 holes. flew directly over the house, close enough to hit with a tennis ball.

Should I worry about a knock.

Thanks

You might be getting a knock. Make sure your paperwork is up to date and your lawyer's number in hand. Does your county have a cultivation ordinance?

Paperwork is fine. And we go by state guidelines, so by the 12 immature plant guideline we are well under. Ugh not looking forward to the next few weeks though.

Thanks

Double flyover today in Eastern Lake County. Light plane with black wingtips came from the south at about 1000', arced over next door neighbor's ranch to the east and went off easterly. A few minutes later the same plane came by from the south again at a bit lower elevation but continued directly north.

hmmm... me thinks I've seen that plane also. Luckily the last couple days have been copter free, was listening to them earlier in the week working near us :/

dont know how i feel about this...on one hand its awesome to see LEO get hit by finding problems....but at the same time this might be a greeenlight for cartel growers who are really gonna invade our parks, which i despise. the people are gonna have to take matters into their own hands and clear out these cartel grows like search and destroy bush humpin missions in Nam...

Yes... I heard that about 2 months ago from someone who works around DoJ offices... glad to see the word is spreading, I just took it with a grain of salt and figured it wasn't worth spreading hearsay on here about it yet.

Spos'd to be a lot of task forces getting the axe here soon.

shit i dont mind them funding camp to take out those mexican grows on public lands, all those camp choppers are a huge waste of gas though, 400 bucks an hour or something like that...but i would rather have those guys out chopping down cartel weed than getting redeployed to urban areas to fight indoor grows, brokers, dispensarys, etc.......i wish they would axe more postal inspectors or CHP who like sittin in hiding spots on 101 south....

Huge pot bust in Northern Calif national forest

UKIAH, Calif. (AP) — Law enforcement officials said Friday they struck a major blow against illegal marijuana cultivation on public lands in the heart of Northern California pot country.
The two-week operation to purge the Mendocino National Forest of illicit pot gardens uprooted 460,000 pot plants and led to more than 100 arrests, U.S. Attorney Melinda Haag said.
About 1,500 pounds of processed marijuana, 27 guns and 11 vehicles were also seized.

god damn illeagles gotts ruin it for everybody. the fucked up thing is that when they get cought they get a free ride home and eat there beans and tortilla and the next day there ploting on how to get back to northern cali.the sad thing is they destroy so much wilderness in the process of growing there herb, they leave so much trash, they dump diesel oil and fuel in the rivers. there just some real pieces of shit. i call them target pratice.many years ago me and a buddie had a run in with thoes peeps.lets just say we were hunting, saw dudes they had guns we had guns, lets just say they didnt win that shoot out at the o.k. corral. scared the shit out of them so bad never saw them again on my hunting land. just remember THIS is the WILD WEST.

some of the nicest people i have worked with did not enter this country legally. Your post reeks of racism. You also sound like you did not graduate middle school. haha

funny thing is i know for a fact most of the huge grows is the forest are run by the mafia and other organized crime. But its not mexican nationals running things. Big rich white dudes who have been doing this for years are the ones who hire the mexicans who cant speak a drop of english. They want it to look like its a mexican problem....always blame it on someone else without looking in the mirror.

some people think im lying but i can recall more than one convo i had with big cats up in the hills, they told me they hire mexicans every year to plant a few thousand in the bush....

do you really think mexican cartels would try to grow herb here in CA when they can grow it in mexico for free and without worry of arrest?

im not saying it doesnt happen but I bet more than half of the HUGE grows are really run by rich white dudes who hire mexicans so people like you can make those kind of statements and assumptions and the white dudes laugh there way to the bank. haha :moon:

I don't have any useful input, but i just wanted to say that i really admire all of my californian brothers for putting in so much work year after year despite the ever-present risk of flyovers and having your garden raided. It seems kinda interesting to me that the state with the most relaxed laws regarding cannabis consumption is also the state with the most vigorous anti-cultivation enforcement.

stickky i definately agree with that...ive always thought that if i was running a grow on my own property, i would hire mexicans that i drop ship in there eyes covered so they have no idea where it is...then leaving a shitload of mexican tortillas and tapatio all over the grow so CAMP would think its mexicans instead of me lol......then when CAMP comes to my door like "there was a grow on your property" i can say "damn mexicans!"...

we gotta get a thread up for recent political news too...it seems like things are brewing about ordinances in mendocino.....its already happened over in butte...some fucking town hall meeting and all of a sudden you are breaking the law again because of plant limits....and they got the wording "plant # OR sq footage" so you could be under plant limit but if they are monsters they could technically get you..

http://www.mendocinosheriff.com/ does the compliance form only apply for grows under 25 in mendo?

so basically if they come in, the only way to fight in court is to face arrest and challenge. however, if you let them simply chop your plant limits back, they will leave you alone...correct me if im wrong, sounds like a "dont fuck with us we wont fuck with you, but we'l cut your numbers back if we want to" kind of deal with the sheriff (but what about DEA, CHP, local county narcs).....also interesting how no matter what county you are in, CHP follows 8oz limits so the magic 3lb county limit automatically vanishes....cruise control!!!

"According to County, if Williams believed that its deputy
did not have probable cause to arrest him, his sole option was
to face arrest and then challenge any resulting charges by
filing a motion to set aside the indictment or information, or
asserting an affirmative defense at trial. The fact that
Williams may undergo the expense and stress of criminal
proceedings, County contends, is inherent in the process
approved by the voters in passing Proposition 215. Therefore,
Williams’s alleged status as a qualified patient does not
provide him standing to pursue a cause of action for conversion,
unreasonable search and seizure, due process, or any other civil
action."

chopper flyovers in certain counties is cool info but this should be expanded to include any local laws or movements that might affect outdoor grows...or we could start a new thread for that, when you got plants in different counties it could come in useful....im so sick of these city/county limits...you can grow 6 here, 25 here, 99 there....fuck it just grow up to 99 and face a felony seems to be the way to roll..
