Don't buy that cheap chinese made crap CLOWD is pushing, many people have had alot of issues with those lights and problems with the leo informant company owner (LEDGirl). Don't open up that can of worms ;)
LOL Your obviously threatened by superior LED technology, thats a shame that you had to go buy overpriced lumigrow rubbish that needs extra lights to make the POS work. But not being happy with that, you spread lies and deceipt to try and make lumigrow look good. I dont know of anyone with issues with HGL lights compared to you knowing many? Got any links for those many problematic HGL users? Or just more hysterical BS claims?
Why wont you answer my question about what other lights you NEED to run the lumicrap? Im guessing you need some T5s or at least several cfls and also some 730nm far red lights, seems funny you cant admit lumicrap has big problems. People should be aware that lumigrow is overpriced rubbish that doesnt work. The best praise the lumigrow recieves is that its built like a tank, fuck that, pretty expensive boat anchor mate!

Basements in cold climates & small grows (LED) aside, we produce a lot of heat & it will register somewhere as we exchange it out. If you insulate the room, it still has to dump out through the air vents and/or heat exchange of the a/c.

are AC units that produce no heat the key to all our heat problems?

I think it would be much harder to spot a 6 or 8" outlet venting into an attic or through a cavity wall, than the whole house lit up like an xmas tree, chimneys are cool outlets when used properly, even placing outlet ducting next to your houses heating outlet would help mask the FLIR. Better to do it/do something about it, rather than not bother. Make it tough for them not easy!
Good advice right there!

Hey Clowd11,

Nice bud, do you happen to know the dried weight of it?
No, sorry. I have since purchased some scales but didnt have them before id smoked near all of that hehe

Nothing a bit of lead wouldn't fix, but then they'd wonder what you had going on that you needed a lead lined attic.

Easy enough to source as most dental offices have lead lined xray rooms-thin sheet lead by the roll-"fairly" expensive but effective if your neighborhood xray truck becomes reality.

The whole thing about burying the pipe and having rads..I had a similar idea, Id put the rads in a box, blowing the room air over them, the rads would be connected to a bucket of water in a "Husky" fridge(drilled glass for fittings,it could be a res chiller too) and connected to a larger res as well. Maybe make use of my ornamental pond.
Keeping your heat sig on the lowdown, is a good idea no matter what. Lots of grows get discovered accidentally.
The cops are in the sky chasing a car thief who is hopping over garden fences, hes hiding in your neighbours wheelie bin and the cops switch the FLIR on, hey presto, they see the heat of the crook in the bin...but they also see what looks like a thermal vent from a volcano blowing out of a louvre in your crawlspace, and a roof hotter than all the neighbours with 3 obvious hotspots in a staight line down the centre.., and they take note for later.

FLIR use by law enforcement will keep increasing 'cause it is cost effective:

The officers had been alerted when a police helicopter picked up a hotspot on the roof of Pam's garage and assumed it was a drug den, when in fact it was a cosy home for her loveable pets.
