The 3 point competition is going to be great...I have a feeling Paulie is gonna do it again, he gets up for stuff like that.

Hope the Truth heals up for it! :D

Gutsy win today, Rondo's sheer will pulled it out. I was ok losing to LAL, but I woulda hated losing to the Heat and given them 1st place.

Fun seeing Von Wafer showing what he can do.

Anyone else think T.A. regrets being a Grizzly? :D

Big win today. After the loss to LA they couldn't afford another at home, especially to the Heat.

Big Baby blowing that lay up was awful! Perkins blew a couple too but at least he's usually fighting off 2 or 3 defenders. It just blows my mind we have two near 7 footers that can't dunk the ball at will.

Boston has now beat Miami 3 times this year. (3-0)

Please, no more talk about Miami being able to beat them in a 7 game playoff series when they can't even get a W during the regular season.

From CelticsBlog:

Out: Kendrick Perkins, Nate Robinson, Marquis Daniels, Semih Erden, and Luke Harangody

In: Jeff Green, Nenad Krstic, a 1st round pick (top 10 protected) from the Clippers, a 2nd round pick from the Cavs, and cash from the Kings.

These deals free up 3 roster spots and sets us up for some positive moves in the future. That, however, doesn't necessarily pave the way for the run for Banner 18 this year. A lot will depend on what Danny can find in free agency.

Ainge is gonna take alot of heat for this.

Having Green come off the bench is going to be a nice addition but I think losing Perkins might be a big mistake. He's alot more valuable of a player than what his stat line might show and he's a big (literally) part of Boston's defence. I never saw this coming - hopefully the organization knows what they're doing..

I remember hearing that they were worried about not being able to re sign perk, but definitely didn't expect a trade....

I feel as though the C's did alright you got rid of all players who either don't play or are hurt all the time, I understand perkins is one of those intangibles kind of guys but you still got big baby davis and shaq is not playing now may make him have fresh legs for end of season/playoff run. You guys get Green who is a good player and kristic is not terrible he'll atleast get some playing time unlike some people in that trade, on top of that trade picks. If you ask me Boston did really nice in the trade and probably figure they can find another Perkins in the draft.

As a C's fan, Perk was perfect in his role, added that extra toughness that exemplified the Celtic persona.
That said, Perk's been hurt a few times now, so I can see being gun-shy on giving him a big contract. I understand it, but I don't like it.

Nate brought a nice looseness to the team and bought in to playing hard, a capable sparkplug off the bench. It will be interesting to see how Baby responds to "the business".

Green is a big upgrade off the bench.

I can't get too excited for Troy Murphy or anyone else becoming available 3/1.

Guess I'll have to stay up and watch the game tonight, least the 1st 1/2.

What's the deal with Troy Murphy this year anyways? I don't think he's injured, he just hasn't been getting played for some reason. The guy is actually quite nice and would be a big addition to any team if they actually incorporate the guy.

This is sure some year for trades, even earlier in the season with that big trade with the magics. speaking of the magic I think the Celt's are saving shaq daddy for that series if it comes down to it, the one of very few big men that can D up howard. HL I am curious to see what Ainge is going to do next myself.

Hello all Celtic fans,

can't wait for the game 2nite. Perk would not sign the contract presented to him by Ainge, and he's currently on a week long rest with a medial collateral sprain in his knee. Now he's an OKC Zombie. Nate was good last yr. in the playoffs (surprised us all), but every time he shoots the ball I get ansy.

Unless O'neal and O'neal are secretly better then any one is letting on, I can't figure why we would dump our 2 centers with the most logged minutes.

I know the deadline passed, but I feel like ainge has an Ace up his sleeve, and will aquire another big man, and just pay the penalty for after the dead line trade.

GL 2-nite against a Melo-less Nugget team.

PEACE

Ainge is up to something, why trade Erden for a 2nd rd. pk in '17 when we're so thin up front right now?
