I don't know pimpjuice, he must'a been fucking up?
Sometimes the banhammer comes down early I feel,
But I do agree people need to learn manners at times.

Seriously Scorpio...
You are bitching about your market being flooded.
What do you think is going to happen when one of these 'Western' states legalizes it? Or Canna-Duh?

We all have to stop thinking with our dicks and our wallets if we want to keep out the real fuckers that come with legalization. They are like Root Aphids, quick to root, hard to get rid of, and keep popping up...again and again and again.

Remember: "there is no 'I' in 'Community", inside joke, if you were there you'd get it.[Learned that at emotional growth boarding school {read, 'Cult in N.Idaho}] Sometimes the only freedom we had was in our heads, not shared with no'body.

Way off topic but buy a diesel and make bio-deisel:good:

One of the CSA farms I support runs veg-oil. It killed a bunch of parts and cost them an arm and a leg. I let them borrow the hybrid, it's never been so dusty. Then veg oil got popular and they lost their free oil source. Make biodiesel huh? Some home chemistry right there. But now I live on a 1/16 of an acre. One day, real soon.

I will have to say, JJ...that you have a distorted view of what is happening in Cali--
First off..as you know, I was a Prop 19 Supporter...and continue to support Legalization, in almost any case--
But to say we are covered under the umbrella of 215...when growing massive amounts, and sending it out of State...is just plain wrong--
I grow a large amount...and though we have Lawyers on retainer, and guiding us every step of the way...I still know that if LEO comes knockin'...I'm going to jail-- Granted...I may not end up in Prison, since I have a really good Defense...but then again, I might--
As for sending it out of State...that is not Legal...not nowhere!! We are still taking mad chances doing what we do...yes, it is better than most States...but trust me bro, it is not 100% Legal--
To all the rest of you....LEGALIZE IT!!:tiphat:

Why'd pimpjuice get banned? Read his posts. It shouldn't be hard to figure out. By reading his foolishness I'd guess he's about 14.....

As for pounds being a grand where I live, if all the outside keeps coming from Cali to the East, it's going to happen sooner than that. They aren't far from that now for outdoor.....

kmk420, you know what I'm saying.... How many people growing get popped? One per every 10,000? Try doing that on the East Coast and see what happens with those huge outside grows.....

Like I said, it doesn't affect me. But I know people that are pissed. People here can't do 200 pound plots. And then they have to compete with the 1400 a bow it's going for here..... I don't blame them for being pissed either.... Like one guy here told me. "If they want to hide behind that medical bullshit, so be it... But tell them to keep their medical shit home."

I don't think you get the idea.
If Colo or Cali legalizes it at the state level, bows will be going for under 1k where YOU live. Not just here.
Sounds like your economic arguments are leaning more and more toward the opinion of Krunchbubble. You just don't know it yet.

Why'd you ban pimpjuice? B/c he didn't agree with you. I think you guys always use that (violated TOU or had menacing tone) as a cop out.

Did we forget what this website does???

For all the people that would lose money because of legalization , there is thousands that lose money because its illegal. I don't care if weed is legal or not, I just want a law that says you can't fire some one for drug testing positive for marijuana! I don't relish the thought of losing 100,000 dollar a year because some one doesn't like the contents of my piss!! You anti legalization people better start saving your money , because the time is coming when your old cash cow is going to die.

JJ, I am trying to find stats on how many got busted for cultivation last year, but I have not been able to find it--
But I bet it is still a surprisingly high number--
I'm not trying to start any shit, but, at least here in So Cal...when they find a big grow, they take it down--
But for what you are talking about...the large amounts that are getting shipped out, it is still very illegal-- It really isn't like we are all growing legal, and fucking up the rest of the Country!! Especially with the numbers you are saying-- I mean, why would I ship something somewhere for 1400 a lb....when I am getting 3200 here for it??!!
As far as the East Coast and growing outdoors....sorry, ya'll just don't have the weather for it-- If you did, more would be growing-- The only reason we get away with it here, is the sheer number of ppl doing it!! We had 1 of our places rolled a couple years ago...700+ plants, and we got lucky, and they fucked up the Warrant, so it slid by-- But believe me...it isn't like they know about them and just let it go!!
Anyways, I'm not trying to fuck the Thread up....I just think you are a li'l off-base with some of your statements of how we are taking no chances-- We are taking the same ones everyone else is, just with more lenient Laws-- But for large grows (100 lbs+) they are not just letting them go, at least not without some serious paperwork, and Accounting, showing that it is all in-house for a Collective--
Yes, things are definitely good here for small growers...but not as sweet for the larger ones as a lot of ppl think--
Peace bro--:tiphat:

I was talking more about the chances we take growing a large amount than I was in transporting-- I, nor our Collective ever sends anything out-- With 6000+ Members, we do just fine keeping it here--:tiphat:

It is more of a shame that people wanted to pass 19 soley upon the basis of it being the one and only and certainly the last.

The Chicken Little theory has been debunked.

The sky isn't falling, there is another bill in the works, we don't need to jump on any train just because it's moving.

That being said, I sincerely hope it's better than the first... but then again there were many predictions to the contrary.

As long as many of the sticking points are addressed I see this as an improvement.

I will wait til I can read the Prop before I comment on it--
But once again....19 didn't pass, but it was not because of the smokers/growers that didn't vote on it for various reasons....it was because of the older, more brainwashed block...you know, the one's that actually Vote--
They will not vote for a looser Prop...if anything, it may have to be more strict in it's wording to gain those Votes--
But all we can do, is wait and see....unless there is something totally crazy in it, I am sure I will be for it, as getting SOMETHING on the books is what we need to do-- It will still be Baby Steps....just 2 years later--
Peace man--:tiphat:

Colorado is going to have 2, maybe more, proposals for 2012.
I already know I am not voting for the B-Teams prop.
http://www.legalize2012.com/committees.html
If you can't figure out why, then public schools failed you.

Just gotta wait and see what the A-Team comes up with.

ANYONE who is against legal cannabis is starting a civil war. Please, think of the majority of americans, who get locked up when they get caught with a gram. Why dont you be a little more considerate, regulated market or not, we have to agree that NO ONE, under ANY CIRCUMSTANCE, belongs LOCKED UP IN A CAGE for consuming probably hands down the most useful naturally occuring plant on the planet. Do you understand what it means to be charged with a FELONY, and thrown in jail for several months....because you had small amount of weed on you? i think all you growers who have legal protection in med states need to get your asses busted and think about how legal cannabis would really change the planet, instead of being selfish fucks....do you really think there wont be a market for you once cannabis goes legal? quit being so naive, small businesses thrive in every market imaginable, quit acting like wal-mart and monsato are going to put you out of business the second theres legality involved....i know america is fucked, but for christ sakes, have a little faith....
once again, STOP BEING SO SELFISH AND THINK OF THE MAJORITY OF OTHERS WHO GET RAPED BY THE SYSTEM FOR HAVING SMALL AMOUNTS OF DRIED PLANT MATTER ON THEIR PERSON ON A DAILY BASIS. THIS IS A CIVIL RIGHTS ISSUE. REPEAT, THIS IS A CIVIL RIGHTS ISSUE!!!!!!!!

The war is already on GL Guerilla.

It's how we win it that will define the future.

Nobody's doubting it should be legal... but how it is legalized can change the face of cannabis forever.

If someone opposes a certain bill, but is still in favor of releasing prisoners and abolishing prohibition, are they still selfishly starting a civil war?

PS Nobody needs to "get their asses busted". That attitude will get you nowhere.

:thank you:
It's good to see someone on the east coast at least worried about their market being screwed up by legalization. Everyone went really big last year in cali thinking this would be the last good season to make money, of course the laws of economics dictated otherwise. With any luck the market will correct itself, the weakest will fall off and won't grow as much. A lot of people are broke by the end of the year after paying expenses, it's not cheap to harvest. I think the prices will drop lower next month.

i don't know who you are talking to with your 13th post rant, but no one here is against the federal legalization of cannabis. prop 19 was a specific list of taxes and regulations for the state of CA, let's not confuse the two. legalize does not equal tax/regulate. with that said i support the taxation and regulation of medicinal cannabis within CA, but that is a very different issue. i also support the decrim of adult recreational use within the state, but not blindly.
