The only "if" in the story is about being able to access the energy collected. They say that if they can add a tiny capacitor to each antenna then they will be able to access that energy. If you have any understanding of solid state technology and what it can do then you know the "if" they're talking about is extremely doable.

the FED's primary concern is wage inflation, if wages go up, they will act with higher interest rates
but no matter what you do with interest rates, energy is its own reality
real prices will go up on food, transportation, etc. - everything that is a real Consumer Price Index
