The one you asked about.
Remember the Black DC cross...well look at the one on the far right..
she is a sibling cross.
She was non-af..so she was thrown out the grow cupboard on 12th Dec last year..to outdoor..not only survived..but was one of my most favourite smokes of the season.
I put her back to a set of 8 ALF males..for an orgy..to get the AF content back in her...so..((ALF X DC) x ALF)
This is my first "look-see".
I have two kush framed fems and two vertical fems in...and an absolutely cracking matching kush framed male.
Only downside..the fem is the brilliant White I want..
but the male is carrying loads of colour.
ATM..he is looking dark purple..but I cannot ignore the fact that he could be the Black as he goes over..
so I thought I may as well clip it when I see it.
Unfortunately not outdoor...only for photo
Brought up under lights..but they had to come out for him to pop

Intersting... I would roll with it, my friend... You can always select out the color... Right now, you want above all else, a smoke that fits your expectations. After that you want a large majority of them to be autoflowering with a branchy growth habit and lots of vigor.... The color can be delt with later if you are trying to draw it out.. so long as its not a super dominant trait in the male side (sex linked)...
I don't think anyone's gonna complain about a bit of purple.. I personally would call that a 2nd priority selection pressure type of thing....
I see traits of both the ALF and DC in there... Lookin forward to seeing how this segregates out...
Since the ALF x DC was crossed to 8 stamenant ALF plants, you're gonna have a bit of sorting to do with the genes... This is where it would be nice to be able to do very controlled pollination on CLONES so that you could have every seed sorted as to what male pollinated what female.... Would really speed things up and clear up some muck I think...
Keep on feeling it out... Thats your next best bet, follow YOUR heart, farmer...

My m8 in the headshop gifted me this to try.
He says they are made to insulate the roots so you can grow in Spain all year round.
They stack..he had his set up for hydro.
He was impressed with them.
He took me to look at his grow room.
He had a LED grow light set up.
He wasn't as impressed with that.

I've been wondering how those leds worked out for herb... I would imagine you have to keep them pretty close to the plants...

I took my pressy from mother nature down a day early..because the weather was so bad I didn't see the point in waiting any longer..
small..but perfectly formed..
we had a few friends round for food...
and although it was a little chilly..I let a few of the more hardy ones share my Pool...ha ha
a great time was had by all...how was your day..?
