Off topic......I read about California outdoor,bla bla.....imo,outdoor weed will NEVER be as good as indoor,period.Ive smoked outdoor from Cali to Novia Scotia and its outdoor,not sayn its bad,just sayn its outdoor.So for all the beautiful climate ya got in Cali,outdoor weed there is just like outdoor weed anywere else.Theres areason why indoor goes for more even in Cali,outdoor pot is outdoor pot,and even with all the weather ya's pik n sell thousands of pounds of outdoor underdone weed.......back on topic

Clubs paying 32, and charging 64, thats bullshit and we all know it, non profit my ass...Half the spots are just buying your shit cheap and throwing it in the mail back to NY and getting 6 for it and laughing when you walk out the door, ripped off like a chump...

anyone that says 32 for OG ins is a pos in my book, that leave no room for other lesser strains cause you wont catch me DEAD offing elbows for less than that, and you'd be lucky to get my blue dream for that...hell I dropped my OG outs for 3350 and that was on a huge pack, then a month later my ins are ready and they want to give me less?? What kinda fools do you think we are?? Not making a buck off me thats for damn sure...

Please, if you grow good weed, demand a normal price and don't be bullied by some douches...If you grow shitty weed, get out of the game cause you're ruining it for everyone that grows good weed...

And if you live in a non med state, and are tired of persecution when it comes to mj, then move, simple as that, they could probably use you to help buy up all the weed they have on surplus.

rojo, come smoke my og outs, they hands down crush my indoor on flavor and potency by a long shot, you cant beat the sun and organic when it comes to growing i don't care what you say indoor is inferior, its just a little cleaner/ less dust.

I literally had several local growers(with huge ops in and out) buy pounds of my outs for their headstash cause it put everything else locally to shame...and I live in the triangle.

this is way to general because there are way too many growers in cali pushing indoor crap for the low low. indoors LBs for 15-23 of mid grade, shit even saw high quality indoor beasters going for 1200...

but if you have that dank dank...i know some clubs are paying 3-32 a lb for stuff like OG kush, Headband, Sour D but thats mostly to regulars who have been vending for years. if you are some guy just walking in off the street i would imagine they might haggle you... i heard the girl scout cookie in my gallery got sold for 36+....pay more for a half of good indoor GSC than i do for an entire pack of mids.

basically the guys getting high grades are the OGs in the game who have been twirking diff strains and made a good name for themselves and know many clubs personally. whenever the GSC or Cherry Pie come around theres a feeding frenzy, while regular weed from mediocre growers just sits and sits and sits....

It all really comes down to what you call risk and what you call work I suppose.

well heres the deal. i understand capitalism and california even though i dont live there i know plenty of people in the north and sout of the state and have spent cinsiderable time there.

owning a club is a huge risk, albiet less than before obama told the feds to fuckk off a little, they are making more than half the profit off the buds they sell

heres a little math fo yo asses
outdoor- you spend a few grand on soil and amendments, triple digit hours taking care of it over the course of lets say 6 months. avg household income in the US seems to be around 50K/year so if youare within the avg you would lose out on $25k to grow your crop.

so right now youre at ~ -$30k

i hear a few of the guys in this thread talking about pulling 100lbs. now lets cut that in half because not everones going that big.

club pays you $1k per lb you make $50k clearing $20k of that in profit. plus the risk of jail time isnt all that much

$2k per lb youre clearing $70k in profit. getting better right? making it seem more worth it huh? pay the bills and buy a new bimmer isnt that the califonian way?

$3k a lb. you have good ass buds. you clear $120k in profit in 6months? not enough? fuck you, you greedy bastard.

so it cost roughly $600/lb to grow all things considered, but heres where it gets fucked.

at $60 an 1/8 a lb goes for $7680. that $4500-6000+ in profit per lb for the business.

if they move just 2 lbs a week at $4000 profit thats $32,000 a month. if that doesnt cover your overhead, and insurance and leave you with a fat chunck of change in your pcoket then you must be doing a lot of coke or something. because i know for a fact that the tiny buildings they usually use for dispensaries dont have rent that high. not even in califonia.

and that was with the dispensary paying $3k per lb. that profit can almost double with the prices they are paying growers now.

so i understand where these guys are coming from considering the majority of those posting on this site are growers and breeders, but lets be real here. dont bitch about something that is a right for you and federal crime for the rest of us.

and i didnt go into indoor because thats where it actually cost something to grow your pot. im just putting outdoor profits into prespective here.

Why would you buy someone else's grade A nug for high price and make a small profit when you can just lowball all outside vendors and reap in the loot off your own in house grow.

Clubs have to pay employees, rent, security costs.

Most street dealers don't have to do that.

All you club haters should band together and open a club. Then you can lowball all outside vendors while making a killing off your in house grow.

My wife works as a budrista. No truly sick person with paperwork will leave the club without some sort of relief no matter how much money they have. The Club makes money but I see the owners and the workers show lots of compassion.

Prop 19 lost mostly because of older conservative voters. Or just older voters. Sure growers didnt support it, but it was those older voters that actually vote that caused its failure.
