Not to mention, cops are not putting people in prison with no license now for a 5x5 which 19 proposes. In Cali if you have a 5x5 and no license at all, no one is going anywhere.

This is a lie. Cultivation (except with prescription) is a felony punishable by up to three (3) years in state prison and a $10,000 fine. And it still happen out here............ Sport

Yeah right. Tell it to the cops who came in my roomates door for something else and left our 50 plants alone. Get with the times bro.
And...if you read my whole post, I did say that yes some small growers are still being persecuted from time to time.

Why just quote what makes you look good?
Frickin liberals.

Sorry, this 19 is toast, as I predicted a month ago. I am ok with my dr. rec, but really wanted this to go thru, as it is the morally right thing imo.

On a brighter note(sarcasm), I get to see 'moonbeam' and boxer for another 4 years. I will need plenty of meds to get thru this.

If you read this thread, most of these haters don't even know who Jack H is. God rest his soul.
Without him we wouldn't be here.
On a lighter note I was blessed to meet his son Mark in SF a few weeks ago.
They would cringe if they saw this.

Youre pointing in the wrong direction.

You need to blame the little kiddies who were too lazy to get to the polls. And the dumbass rat race running fucks who demonstrated corporate loyalty over the paid leave they couldve gotten to go vote...

Read it again...

To ALL THAT DIDN"T...

According to this link (Page 36) fewer than 22 percent of the votes have been reported. As of 20 minutes ago.

Ain't over yet.

The whole world was watching. OK, no they weren't, because nothing happened. But they were ready to. Nothing to see now. No leaders willing to blaze a path toward freedom. No citizens fed up enough to finally tell the pigs to stop. In fact, the only story now is, hey, drug dealers are greedy. Page 7 news.

My deepest regrets to our future fallen brothers and sisters. I know it doesn't mean shit to say some of us tried, because we failed you. I for one am sorry.

Back to work people, nothing to see here, hey, I've got an idea, why don't we try to get a prop that would effectively legalize pot? I know it sounds crazy, and nobody has thought of it before, but it might just work. If we started now, we might be able to work out some verbiage to get on the next ballot. What do you think? Maybe I should start a thread about it?

lets hope for a better prop 2012. this is now an image campaign to combat what will be deemed a referendum on pot.

it needs to be known 19 went down because it was a poorly written proposition that did not clearly define taxation guidelines/commercial licensing guidelines, nor did it offer up substantial gains for marijuana freedoms. 25 square ft didn't win an applause from the community.

I believe a proposition that decriminalized possession of marijuana universally for those over 21, allowed up to half an acre for outdoor cultivation (no commercial wording), 100sf min indoor, and set a 10% sin tax on sales, no extra ways to fine or incarcerate, no hidden commercial agenda, no dry counties... something like that wouldn't split the community and would pass with flying colors.

on a brighter side, whitman lost :D

There is a link here somewhere...I'm sure we can dig it up if we need to...that has his Family saying he would have supported Prop 19---

it wont be known as a poorly written proposition. have you listened to ANY of the media outlets? they are all saying "californians say no" "californians dont want legalization" "marijuana use condemned by voters". thats all they will say. they wont talk of 5x5, or 1oz limit or dry counties. like we said its CA MJ pass or fail. and if you think the 2012 is going to be less restricitive after watching what happend with 19 your naive. id be suprised if the next bill/proposition allowed growing at all......

herb, bottom line this prop didnt ignite the base like it should have, for the exact reasons i mentioned. la times in its voter guide even stated it was poorly written. the oppostion to 19 even made claims that 19 would COST money. if there was a clearly laid out tax scheme in 19, then it would be fairly hard to deny BILLIONS in tax revenue. that alone would have won over many hard core repubs.

19 did for the first time get law enforcement on the side of marijuana. THATS HISTORIC. i dont see any future proposition backtracking from 19. where would they go? 19 was honestly a pretty low bar.
