Wishing I was down in atlantic city with all my friends seeing phish tonight. Still, in the past I've found partying and gambling to be a bad combo. Maybe a blessing in disguise... If I didn't have to watch over the girls I'd probably be doing the whole tour

Also got a nice surprise today. I had a lone runt blueberry 4 weeks in that's been worrying me, growing very stout and not stretching much. Seems the problem is I can't label stuff right and am too stupid to recognize its structure, as after I smelt it I realized it's actually a grandaddy purp. Definitely a good thing, as now I'll have GDP to smoke for christmas

who got/seen L.E.D. lite's?

Was gonna post at 4:20 but got lost in the smoke while reading...Any of you cats tried useing L.E.D lites to grow your own? Went to the hydro store and took a good look at one for the first time.
5 year warrentee ,300 watt[i think]=1000 watt hps.They said the pretty purple lite would penetrate aprox 6 foot[where hps is only good for 3.5-4']...this one cost 1300....Ive seen other simalar, priced at 1100$ and on ebay for 600$....I been in the loop for a while but never seen ANYONE with one of these systems up and running except the guy who sells them...Has anybody ever used them in the bud cycle and if so how did they match up agaist the old 1000 watt hps's....Cant see wasting all that money just to be the first on the block....

I think the LED thing has a LOT of work to do before they are competitive to the result of and HPS or other HID type setup. The claim that the penetration of that setup to be better than an HID setup is pretty ambitious. The only reason I could see going to one is for electricity consumption as well as head dissipation. I've not used one, so this is just my opinion and it may be totally wrong. There is an entire discussion group on this site that is geared towards LED grow setups. Good luck!

Until I see a proven, medium/large scale grow, that actually produces the same weight, it's HID all the way!!!!
Hey kids! I thought I'd share some pics of my latest victim. She's a Pineapple Express from G-13. This has been my personal favorite (not to mention my friends) of what I've managed to produce this year. Getting ready to slow down for the year, so this is my 5th to the last plant for the year.

FB.. I'm very interested in how the Afghani Milk works out for you. I was eyeballing that one for an addition. Does it stretch a lot? Nice colors.. juicy looking!

not a huge stretch. ive ran a few phenos. some nice dense and juicy buds. this is the first plant ive had get straight purple calyx's.

EC,i run a 128 watt led for veg,works but i only keep 4-6 in veg @ a time??/tried flowering under 2 of these no way!!!!!!! even w/cfl side lights???as a veg light it works ,you might lose a week over a 6-7 week veg.i get nice short internodes and stout little bushes???
