As you will read in the Oregon thread there is NO LIMIT on personal growing. Also smoking bars will be allowed. Prop 19 sucks balls. wait until 2012 and you will see a real bill for cali that won't be so restrictive. Again I keep trying, but atleast now I copy and pasted for your guys. :)

2012 for cannabis reform!!!!!

Yours is a two in the bush for the one in your hand argument.
There are no guarantees for the future.

You say wait.
I say how much longer?
and why?

Should the blacks have not accepted the Emancipation Proclamation because the Civil Rights Act wasn't ready for them then?

NO

Vote Yes

Then we can adjust in 2012 if needed not just keep waiting for a first step toward justice.

I would LOVE to see those things!! But I have my doubts that mainstream California will Vote for that, at this time--
If we get our feet in the door with 19, now...when it actually has a good chance at passing...why could there not still be a new Prop written for 2012??
California will not even vote in a Law for smoking ciggs in a bar...do you really think they are ready, at this time, to vote in a Smoking Lounge??

I tried. Vote prop 19 if that is what you feel is the right thing to do. However when you see other states pass way less restrictive bills you can think of me in the back of your head saying "i told you so". If you want to go with prop 19 is better than nothing then I agree with you, but compared to what will be coming down the pipe prop 19 is a joke. I have decided to just say, "Vote for prop 19"!!!!!!! Richard Lee will thank you. :)

Vote prop 19!

You already have vapor lounges.

There are medical hash bars and smoking lounges everywhere. Ever been to Venice Beach?

I don't see why someone who is a RECREATIONAL user would have any complaints to be able to legally transport an ounce HOME to enjoy.

I don't get excited to smoke with strangers, maybe you're different... or lonely. I dunno.

Or we could just wait until Prop 2012 where you can have an Uzi strapped to you're back while you pass your 4 year old daughter a doobie that you just had rolled by some strange guy you met at the park while smoking a blunt who you brought back to your 20x20 grow room for help with powder mildew.

You need to stop thinking so narrowly.

The only way Legalization efforts will succeed in the USA is if several states pass ANY SORT of legalization bills.

Then the FEDS have to react and just maybe come to their senses and re-evaluate Prohibition as a failed public policy.

So in reality each state can generate whatever bill with any nuances they want.

The nuances are lost on the general public.

They see it as YES or NO for legalization every time

thats it

Thats all the headlines will read on the morning after election day.

Media boils down the message

The majority will be seen as having voted FOR or AGAINST MARIJUANA.

Not 5x5 spaces and one ounce limits etc.
No headline will say PEOPLE VOTED NO TO WAIT FOR A BETTER BILL

This is Pass/Fail and the social position of cannabis will be judged as such.

You can hold out for your bills but I support Marijuana

I support ALL cannabis and hemp legalization efforts because none of them matter until the FEDS react.

And the FEDS won't react until they get the meassage.

The message is only sent through the ballot box.
That's how it works in a democratic republic like this.

Not really sure how it works in your Dreamworld but good luck finding your Unicorn.

If prop 19 passes the funny thing will be that it will block a good bill for atleast four years. It will be awesome either way this vote goes. I am actually starting to hope that it will pass so that you can see how bad it is going to be. I guess in a backwards twisted way you have now converted me to vote yes on prop 19. Even though it sucks.

P.S.If someone would like to make shirts that say
Vote yes on prop 19!
Even though it sucks.

P.M. me and I will tell you where you can send the royalty checks. :)

he said all you have to do is call george soros...

Yeah that'd be easy - I'm sure George has far better things to do with his time. Besides this - what a load of bollocks! If this Bill proposal existed there would be a link. You naysayers are boring, transparent and have yet to make a single credible comment. Publish or perish - where's the links to the 2012 Bill?

Why's that reneck? Cause he has a pic of a black guy as his avatar or what.... I voted Obama and am voting yes to Prop 19. Don't know if you noticed but it was Bush that screwed the country and Obama who told the Feds to lay off the States. Meantime it was Bush who went after Canada and started wars all over the planet. Things were pretty good here until Bush. We're on the same page with yes but I just don't go Obama bashing cause so much of it seems to be based on race. Fact - it was a white man that screwed the US and turned it into an insttituion of book burning and fear. It was a black man that inherited this mess. What would you have him do? Seems to me that most people in CA who voted Obama will be voting yes. Let's face it, it was the educated left vote that put him in.

SB 1449 has passed by senate vote and just needs Arnold to sign it. If Arnold signs it , it will turn possesion of under an ounce of Cannabis from a misdemeanor to a civil infraction.

SB 1449 also turns possesion of more than an ounce into a misdemeanor. Felony possession is going the way of the dodo bird in California. SB 1449 also puts a restriction on having an unsealed bottle of booze in any car.
