looks like it slowly and really powerful swells from the inside out. like the incredible hulk bursts out of his clothes.

Spinosad: Only one application per month. The last one will be in mid September IF we are experiencing problems with caterpillars or in the unlikely even of a serious thrip problem. It was brought to my attention (thanks Butte) that Spinosad kills Bees... as much as i like ganja, I like fruits and vegetables better (on the basis that they keep the human race alive) and they rely on bees for pollination. I am using Dipel DF (Bt kurastaki) weekly as a method of prevention against caterpillars and Bt israeliensis in the soil a couple of times each month against thrips and other soil-borne beasties.

Absolutely beautiful 'maad....I wonder if you're doing the same thing I am....finding that you pay most attention to the top 'stretchers' on the plants? I'm always amazed at the couple 'stretcher' branches that just WON'T QUIT growing vertically - I can see a couple of 'em on the first second and third plants in the pic...
Also, it's cool to use spinosad into flower?! If so, that is very good news as I've been battling thrips this year and was a bit bummed when I applied my 'last' application about a month ago...so just how far into flower would you use the spinosad?

i am guessing the "grow more nutrients" are the macronutrients of NPK and in this case more specifically P? as opposed to trace minerals and bacteria/fungal strains found in the compost tea?
and yes compost tea is the holy grail of organic gardening.
