You notice nobody is backing you up on the state card requirement that you are staking your rep on? Its because you are wrong on that aspect as Ive been telling you. Why do I bother? BTW, I have never sold a gram of outdoor weed in my life. The stuff I grow has never been "crap". I worked a corporate carreer for 26 years and owned my own very legit business until recently. I have worked hard for everything I have . All my outdoor was persy. I am amazed at the level of presumption you use. But hey if you had taken a moment to look at my gallery you would see I have a small indoor grow, of which I post lots of pics. Im here for the growing not to get in pissing matches about growing or growing laws with someone who's picture gallery has nothing.. well, you do own a bong.
well you dont NEED the state/county med id, but it sure makes it a hell of a lot easier if you get pulled over or harrassed by some beat cop....
ive actually had my original recc in my car and ive had cops say shit like it looks fake and looks like i forged it.... its a load of shit, but cops are assholes, what can i say???

Why should someone have to go see a DR to be able to grow or smoke pot? No really why? Seems pretty stupid to me, unless your injured or have a medical need. The fact is most people that smoke pot do not have AIDS or a Spinal injury or say cancer. That is what MOST people think when they hear of 'medical' pot. Most people donpt grow it because its against the law. 19 changes that.
being medical does not make one tax free... i don't make a living growing herb and i'm voting no on 19 because it gives too much control to local county governments allowing them to take "any other appropriate controls necessary for protection of the public health and welfare." ever heard of a tax stamp? ever hear of a dry county? and while that 5x5 grow and smoking at home sounds nice it specifically forbids "smoking cannabis in any space while minors are present." hope you don't have kids.
First you say your voting no because your against the "regulation" part. That sucks that you feel so strongly about that part that you would deny millions of people the right to grow and smoke without the fear of arrest. You said, not me.
Also, your complaint about smoking around minors is mute. 19 simply doesn't cover blowing smoke in your kids face. There is no added penalty...so as far as the law goes...it stays the same. Try smoking in front of your kids now and see what happens.

I would rather see pot sold like ginseng, you bet. The guys that make the ginseng...they pay taxes. They guys selling you the ginseng...they are paying taxes. See everyone pays. You can sit around and wait for another chance but I'm not. If you think for one second that if a restrictive prop fails(19) a less restrictive prop would? Really? Most people do not smoke pot. We need their vote to make any from of legalization possible...they might for for something that restricts the age and amount you can carry...but the part that makes most of them vote yes is the fact that it's a 14 billion dollar industry and they know pot doesn't hurt anyone, so why not tax it and regulate it...with regulation it helps keeps it away from kids. Just look at booze. Anyway...You bring up some points...I just think a differently. maybe you can get past your issues with government and let the little guy have some breathing room...like removing that felony for growing a plant.

this is not about "who's is bigger" im waaaaaaay beyond that in my life.
this is about personal freedom and taking a stand.

I realize my position is selfish and driven by my need to survive and the fear of the unknown environment for my commodity should the bill pass. That and the reality that I havent found a job in over 2 years and have applied to 100s of job listings in that time. But hey it could happen,.
I have had this place for nearly 20 years and had to scrape and suffer for years after a divorce to hold onto it. I certainly dont want to lose it because I will never be able to get a place like this again barring a lotto win. It would just be allot easier if the economy would recover and I could find work. I never wanted to survive on cannabis but thats what it is, and I am legion. Many people are straddling the line and cannabis is the thing keeping them in a home.

You do that and you ARE on a list. Thats whats kept me from doing it, plus Im a small time guy so I stay below the radar as a strict rule.
I hear that down south the card may be more desirable. Are there not some clubs in LA that want a state card? None seem to care about it in the Sac area.

oh the clubs couldnt give a fuck. im pretty sure i could print up a doc recc on my computer and they would accept it.
im only talking about cops and the such. i travel between san diego and upper lake somewhat often and its just that stretch between LA and SF that keeps my nerves up.... im guessing it has something to do with that big ass prison bob barker built in taft co.

look man. its just been a long road for alot of us. many of us pro 19 people are still somewhat in shock at all the opposition we are facing.
the thread has been going for 160 pages and most of us yes voters have been on it since page 1.
