Hey Sensi Star lovers. I could use some help. I'm a week in flower with a 38" girl that cannot be pleased.

She is in a 5gal bucket with bonticare coco under a 400hps. I've been feeding GH nutes at 5ml micro 10ml bloom per gallon of r/o water. She spits out everything I feed her and the pH only stays stable when I just give her plain water but then (of course) she shows deficiencies in the lower leaves.

At first I was feeding everyday at about 850-900 ppm until I ran into a pH lockout. I flushed her with probably 20 gallons of water over a week before I got everything got the pH stabilized I started feeding at stabilized.

The past 2 weeks I started feeding at 500ppm and the pH still drops like .5 in a day.

anyone have any ideas as to what is causing the runoff to drop so much when fed? From what I've gathered here, runoff should rise if she is swallowing and lower if she is spiting. I just don't know whats up because she is growing at a good rate but doesn't look at healthy as she could.

if the PH was .5 your plants would be dead. A ph of 4.0 is very very acidic. If you are doing hydro 5.8-6.0 ph soil 6.2-6.5. Mix the nutrients adjust the ph to the proper range let mix for 24hrs and recheck PH adjust if necessary. I always have mixed PH checked nutrients all the time

Very good medicinal strain. If you can't sleep.....this is a day-ender, no matter what time of day you smoke it.

Easy to grow....most highly recommended. Just remember to be generous on the veg phase, as she won't stretch all that much.

Honestly What ever the two super shivas paradice breed into their durga Mata they used some of the same stock to produce sensi. I got their sensi and durga from clones they both produce the same smell the same high and the same taste but the durga pumps out about twice the leaves. this is beyond a chance paradice durga and sensi are from the same line.

you might get a oger pheno extremely rare. I have grown SS for a long time and have only got 1. You will notice one when you see it. An extremely resinous plant that looks like nothing you have seen before.

thanks for the reply hammerhead but I meant that the runoff is dropping .5 in a day. So I feed at a pH of 5.9-6.1 and the next day the runoff will be at 5.3-5.4 and I basically have to flush to get the pH back above 5.7 because if I feed again the pH will continue to drop.

ok. I did a little reading on coco and cation exchange capacity and I believe my problems are the results of straight noob assumptions that just compounded the problems (go figure, right?).

First mistake- nutrient pH well below suggested coco pH
Second mistake-paying too much attention to runoff pH
Third mistake-flushing with water above suggested coco pH

I think if I just stick to my normal feeding schedule and keep nutes at 5.8 everything will correct itself. After all, coco is supposed to be very forgiving for right?
