No, i don't agree with certain notes you made here.Finola starts to flower not after a certain internodes, but after 20-30 days.I've grown Finola last year like i have grown a family member in the 90s named Red dawn which also started to flower after 20-30 days.Finola is imo also photoperiod neutral.

I know we have a friendly disagreement here :) but, I've grown finola for 6 years now. Some start flowering as soon as 12 days of age, some might take up to 40 days without signs of sexing but regardless of the phenotype, any finola will flower within 2 weeks if started in 12/12.

Always friendly.:D That is not what i see down here.Everything starts to flower before June 21th which has a daylength of 18 hours at 52N.
I have three plants outside at this moment Danish Gold x Finola f1 which are flowering. They had some problems with the UV, but finally they became acclimatized.

When crossing to such early plants the f1 is often atleast semi autoflowering, but things get more complex in f2 and with further outcrossing. It just doesn't behave like lowryder does in hybrids.

18 hours is enough to trigger most early plants to flower, in order to know if they really autoflower the lighting has to be 24/0 like it is in northern Finland. I'm not even sure european ruderalis would pass that test.

The truth is I don't know what lowryder has eaten, I can only follow the signs. I did make a finola x lowryder hybrid back in the days but did not proceed to make an f2 as it was not worth smoking :D

Ed Rosenthal claimed that hungarian ruderalis flowered after 8 weeks uninterrupted light.24/0

Man, wished I could find some skinny whispy leafed sativa that would grow about 2 foot tall. Never thought I would say it but, indica gets boring after a while. LOL!

So much awesome stuff in this thread!!! I posted these in another thread but, I think these fit in here too.
Here are a few Khmer Gold Cambodians I have going. They are over 2 meters tall now, these pics are a week or two old.

Here is one next to a 50/50 hybrid

Great Video Motaco. I thought the old Colombians where dead.

It broke my heart to see them compress that good bud into bricks. What a way to ruin good weed.

Amazing thread. I might have said that before, but i've been reading through as much as possible. So many helpful posts. Thank you to anyone who has kept this thread alive.

Now i just have to find all these wonderful sativa strains. :D Oaxacan sounds like something i ought to have.

I smoke Oaxacan in Bakersfield California, 1975, Gray Hound Bus Station.
It kind of freaked me out, made me paranoid. I would like to grow some out today and see if it happened again.

Hey everyone! I have been following this thread for a few weeks now and half way through Reading it. Amazing insights from all of you, I live in India and thought I would share my first grow with you, plus give you a little more insight into india and it's hemp lore! Oh yeah I think I have pure sativas, maybe you guys can help me in confirming if this is true!
Best
