damn you pay for cuts? iv never understood that. why pay for something that might not even be what they tell you or iv heard storys of people payin for a cut that infested there garden with bugs or PM,dont mean to be an ass but i just dont get it. anyway i hope it is what they said it is if so it sounds killer.

Hey Green Thumb,
How've you been. No I think I confused myself there lol. I payed for 4 3x3 flood trays and a whole lot of extra goodies. Just decided to flower out the girls I had in potting mix. They kinda grew tall on me in those 5x5x7 pots and so I transferred them all into 5 gallon pots. I'll post some pics.

Wheres those pics sum?

Ho Greenwithenvy,
Well seems like these gals are getting flowered afterall. I wanted to keep them as moms but I'll make their clones moms. Right now I weaved eight plants under a trellis. I figure it'll be another 2 weeks before they fill out. They were recently transplanted into 5 gallon pots and were indeed rootbound in their previous small containers. I they'll need some time before they can bounce back and start flowering. Plants are about 3 months old and already show female preflowers on all specimens ;)

Todays work. Just a couple of pics. One plant stayed out because it could no longer fit in there.

K so I shoved a few pots back and managed to fit the last plant in there. The last plant is actually in a smaller pot (3Gal) so it was tight but hey. Lets give these gals a couple weeks to get acclimated and see what happens. I originally wanted this to be straight hydro but in hopes of finding the best budder I will flower in the Potting soil.

I bought a 3.8cu ft bale of ProMix with Mycorize so they should adjust well but I am a bit bothered they became root bound.

Looks good cant wait to see what happens.

Thanks GWE,
I have tons of pics but I've been having personal issues and I neglected them for a bit. I mean they eat well but I neglected their roots by leaving them in a small container while feeding them 2000PPM food on a 1000watter. Those roots were sad bro. Hopefully they'll take to the bigger pots.

Here's what we look like after 15 hours of being placed under the trellis. Plant tips have started to point up. Lights have been dropped to 24in.

Don't know about 1000 watts for a 3 x 3.......I get the same results with my 400 watt combo MH and HPS....(eurogrower and turbogarden for vegging)..When I up to 1000 watts, I just burn the hell outta everything..... 2 oz per plant is usual with 400......although my last of Kalichakra yeiled 1.2 oz/plant ...8 plants.....Maybe small yield, but some really kick ass weed.

Sounds nice and yes you have to keep the temps down. Avoid high temps by keeping your fan motors on the outside. I used to run my squirrels in but after setting them outside I noticed an immediate drop of about 13 degrees. Now I run on average 78 to 84.

The higher wattage in a 3x3 allows for more nutrient uptake and lets me feed them heavier. I doubt you can feed 1800 to 2000PPM without any ill effects on a 400. But nonetheless your end product must be nice. Thanks for stopping by.

2 Days after placing under trellis. There are 9 plants under here and 4 different strains.
G13xNYCD (3)
TrainWreck (3)
LemonSkunk (2)

The plants appear to be taking well to the training and I'm noticing the side chutes are really aiming up to the light. I plan on flipping in 14 days. The G13xNYCD's are 3 months old from seed. All remaining strains are 2 months old.

SCROG is a good idea for a small number of plants. I tried it once but just found it too messy, especially the harvest. I had shit all over the place. That's why I like SOG's but have to live with high plant numbers.

Nice scrog, I'm also growing some gh trainwreck. link in sig.
Also in the later shots with the bigger pots are they in the same config as the one you labeled?

Nice I like your setup. I too would build a UC as opposed to buying.

No, the system you're employing in your config is UC. Mine was straight DWC with no recirculation. Nonetheless same sized buckets and same lid.

How do you go about watering, feeding them? From under the screen or above.
