would be intresting to see what a seasoned grower like yourself is pulling off those

also what did you get from your onyx grow as i personally think the onyx was better than the m15 and ive seen some monster yields off that strain in fact i just seen 1 guy pull 5 oz dry weight using oxypots and hps about 2 weeks ago all in 12 week seed to harvest. impressive

Blue streak is chopped down now (had 48 hours in the dark) I got about 20 seeds from the pre floweres up the main stem & hopefully the should be a couple more hidden deep in the stinky dence buds. my entire house smells of it

The other blue streak is very similar to the sour 60's, just without the sour to it. she got seeded pre floweres aswell but its the stinky STINKY resin coated blueberry bitch's offspring I will be growing....

Not sure cos I never weighed them up, I go by how long it lasts. the biggest lasted me a week, the smaller 3-4 days tops!

The monster Mi5 isnt going to yeild alot but definetly going to use her as a building block....

Im not sure on the final weight of them either, but they yeilded the largest out of any auto I done so far, closly followed by HBD.

I got scales so il make sure I do some weighing up next time. I never grown onyx, but 5oz sounds nice I take it that wasnt no 250w HPS

If I had used bigger pots, grown less plants and had a 600W HPS im sure atleast a couple of the Mi5 and HBD would have weighed in at 4oz+ dried. but I can only dream of that at the moment.

Thanks dargo. Glad to hear that the HBD is a good yielder. After having bad luck with my pack of mi5, my HBD is growing well. I got some 3 gal bags and a outdoor spot so hopefully i will get some niece yields this go around.

I was going to get some but went for the HBD instead, I allways got room for more autos so will definetly be adding some onyx to my collection at some point. I think stitch said something about it been improved further, but that might have been another strain so dont hold me to it....

Are the lots of phenos or is the good shit locked down already?

i had that discussion on another forum about stitch improving that onyx strain and to be honest i dont see how he could unless he makes it into a super auto and you get bigger yields as the smoke really is that good soo smooth and potent and proper sticky icky icky.

its deffo in my top 5 autos of all time

its ak47 x with white russian ( white widow x ak47) and diesel in there to boot plus other stuff he dont wanna mention


id say that the strain is on lock down however the 1st 1 i grew didnt have the auto trait and when i look back now i wish i had grown it out but i had to pull it cause of size issues back when i had to many on the go but i still have about 7 pips left in my fridge

even if you only get 1 female seed from picknmix or something get 1 in your grow just to sample the quality and if you are a fan of the mi5 like me then the onyx will blow you away

Well last year I had a successful first outdoor grow. I used fox farms soil which is a great mix out of the bag. This year I couldn't get my hands on it so I used sum shitty store bought soil. The ph was all out of wack which left me with 6 males and 2 females and they all were tiny and super stressed. Now i have the two fems outside waitin on my first HBD male to drop some pollen so i will have some mi5 x hbd for another run later this summer. But on the bright side, i got my soil mix dialed in now. I have 4 hbd in organic lc's mix and they are growing great and they are only under cfls. Today is day 9 and i will be forced to transplant early. All of them have a considerable amount of roots growing out of the bottom of their 16 oz cups. They are gonna love the 3 gal bags and this sun. plus i have warm weather till november, so this should be a good year for me

I dont know if anyone remembers the tiny stunted Mi5 I had (heres a pic from earlyer in the thread with her next to the monster Mi5, they was both started at the same time)

Anyways....... shes STINKING!!!!! covered in resin, dence bud & did I say she was STINKING!!!!! Although the smallest Mi5 I have grown to date she is my favorite I should have a few beans hidden inside her as I pollenated the pre flowers. I worked out that I could fit 32 of the pots shes in, in my grow cab and even if I only got 7g off each that would be 8oz of high quality dence sinky bud, its basically a bud on a stick, no wasted buds at the bottem, shes fat allover!!!

Mi5 by the compost bin, I still got new ones popping up!

As I said above I got lots of pollen sacs off the girls I left to over ripen, however there dosnt seem to be any pollen in the bananas? does anyone else use this method to make fem seeds, if so have you got any tips/advice?

Today is a shit day

I just been in to see how there all doing this morning.... ALL the HBD at the box party have hermied!! they was the fem HBD seeds I was sent by mistake when I ordered my reg beans (I was sent 5 regs to make it up) they got sacs all over them!! none of the Mi5 or blue streak in there have hermied, just EVERY SINGLE F*****G HBD.

Looks they are making fem beans using a shitty technique. Tons of people have been getting hermies with their fem beans. Sad to hear bro Just pluck off the male flowers before they pop and you'll be okay. Just don't use them for breeding imo.

its not just sac's, i got single bananas popping up all over the place, its impossible to pic them all out and been such a crowded party it makes it even harder. im going to compost them

I got 3 different strains at the boxparty, there all doing well, but only the HBD have hermied even though they all have exactly the same treatment. Im sure its something to do with the way they make the fem seeds, or the mother they used, some will agree other will disagree. Id love it to be my fault as its such a fantastic strain, a pleasure to grow (untill this morning) and smoke (allways a pleasue to smoke), if it was my fault I could do something about it.

Nothing else has hermied in there (apart from the sour 60 & Blue streaks, but I left them way over the reccomended harvest date so they didnt hermie untill a couple of weeks after most people would have cut them down, any weed plant will do the same thing)


Il take some photos of the plants I got hanging up, the first Mi5 looks pathetic! I think i got 5-6 grams off her lol..........but fuck me she KICKS!!!!! not for smoking in the daytime, not before work, not before anything other than the sofa or bed. My partner had to come home from work and I didnt even get out the front door, she said she nearly passed out and had to sit in the car for 30 mins before leaving, I just lay on the bathroom floor wondering how I got there. good stuff!!
