you're absolutely right white widow would purp up if grown at 40 degrees below.

my second guess would of been Kryptonite- the deep chunk does have fatter leaves than those.

sour grapes I would say not to as well.

I've grown out the pk, hindu skunk, dcxsc, ww, odysey, and big shiva/shiva skunk from bs. Looks closest to dcxsc but I don't think that's what it is. DCxSC puts out lots of resin on the fan leaves too.

Really? Because that would have been my first guess-- Ridgedogs' pic looks exactly like the Sour Grapes I grew... but I only grew a couple, and they were a bit on the runty side. I guess the consensus is that it could be anything, Ridgedogs!

SIR stands for SATIVA INDICA Ruderalis. just to clear that up... just to get the nomenclature strait.

That's good info,
I was under tha impression that it was from a canadian seed co, Smoking Seeds, S.ister's I.ce R.evenge? Hmmm
Ya I really miss The Ortega, NYCD, Coral Reef, Shiskaberry, and Maple Leaf Indica.

I'm looking for some Hindu Kush and some frosty Blueberry Kush for my next grow. Anyone know where the good cuts of these strains are?

Let's try it again, boys: SIR stood for either "Sister Isis Returns" or "Sister Isis' Revenge" (depending on who you ask). Plenty of sativa and indica in there, but no ruderalis (thankfully). Endur, you may be right about that seed company name but I wasn't able to track down any concrete info. No idea if it's related to Dutch Passion's Isis (said to be a Haze hybrid). Great cutting, if I had to guess I'd say it was probably a NL cross. Is it even around anymore?

Ya, I remember going to the 3rd Floor, in Oakland and they used to get a lot of strains that seemed to be from a Canadian Seed co. Smokingseeds. If I remember there was Dankouver, Victory#2, Big Fatty, S.I.R, all had the same names as Smokinseeds. It also seems that this seed co, has been out of business for quite awhile.
I just looked at one of my Characteristic of various cannabis strains,
and S.I.R is labeled as Sativa/Indica, 8 week flower, (high powerful relaxes the body, invigorates the mind). Smell sweet N spicy.
Ill try and see if i can find my pics of the SIR i had.

If you've got a tag, I'm assuming you also grew it? If so, did you see any autoflower traits? Because I grew that SIR for at least a year, and I never saw anything that would indicate any ruderalis genes in the mix. The Compassionate Caregivers clone list-- the one I had at least-- clearly had it marked "S.I.R. (Sister Isis Returns)"....

But whatever, we can agree to disagree on this one-- the seed company is defunct, the 3rd Floor and Compassionate Caregivers long gone, the clone hasn't been seen in years... it's all just memories now... :smoker:

(And hey, while I'm at it, we're all friends here. No need to go all condescending and call me "son". I get it, you've been around the block a few times. So have I, brother.)

I did this specific cut for 3 years, I never had any auto flower tendencies.
That's to bad that this strain is nothing but a memory. I was pulling 20+ oz per 1000 HPS.

Anyone heard of Purple Voodoo? I just picked up a cut of this but I don't know much about it. I only got it because someone I trust said to jump on it because of the quality of the grower. Actually still looking for the Hindu and Blueberry Kush cuts.

I got it at that spot in Fairfield, I believe it's called "Tree Of Life". I guess a guy that teaches at their growing classes brought them in so I swooped on it. Here's a shot of it about two weeks into flower. It's got a Sativa look to it.

Here's a ReCon from the same place- it flipped today actually

Not sure where to find the strains you mention there but good luck. :)

You can sometimes find Purple Voodoo Flowers at Peace in Medicine in Sebastopool. Ok I guess, not the strongest purple strain. I Prefer SR71 PK.

Has anyone seen clones of the following in the bay area clubs?

Kali Mist / Western Winds
C99
Apollo 11
Mother's Finest
Or any African or tropical sativa selected for indoor cultivation.

It seems that these sativa-leaning clear head highs are not too popular with the med crowd, but they work well for my migraines without hindering motivation.

Even the balanced, non-couchlock clones I'm seeing in the clubs tend to be too stupefying for me. ..the chem/OG family, trainwreck, skunk/cheese variations are all too heavy-head.
I'm looking for something a little more "light" and "awake".

I miss my Malawi Gold :comfort:

SR71 Kananga is a sativa from the Congo. I haven't seen any Kali Mist in so long, I bit the bullet and bought some seeds.
