Blood, you´ve got one clean grow going there ! Looks good ! I have understood that if you want cuttings to root sooner, they should receive weak light..(=10-15 w cfl)

Blood - I am VERY impressed. A few quick questions for you - in your last thread you had great success - and I want to just recap. What lights did you finish the plants off with? How did those small rez DWC work out overall as far as ph and temps? Seems like the roots would have clogged the air stones.

Thanks for posting. I consider your thread an experiment - a successful one. Cant wait to see how the kushes turn out.

Hi all and thanks for following!

Cheese: I am abit unsure how long I will veg them clones, I cannot move them over to the big cabinet before the Kushes are done. Maybe veg for 1-2 weeks, then flip to 12/12 to keep size down.

BC: Thats what I remember from my previous Kush, cannot wait for these to finish! Gonna let them go at least 20% amber trics before harvest.

Tatz: Maybe I will try a smaller bulb for rooting clones in the future. It worked with the 125w, but it took 2 weeks!

Intel2000: Thanks! I finished my last grow with 2 x 125w CFLs. Need to get my new fan up and running, then I can hopefully do 2 x 250 CFLs instead. My current DWC rez hold 10 litre or 2,7 gallons of water. PH is dead stable, very easy to maintain. Just need to top up the water every second day, and change it all out completely every 3 weeks. No problems with temps, I dont have a temp gauge but it feels cool enough. No problems with clogging of airstones either, I just keep checking the roots + airstones now and then so it doesnt get clogged.

Took the Kings Kush out of the cab today, look at all those flowersites! Think I will get a nice harvest on this one... hohohoho!!

im gunna make a bigger rez for my DWC soon, but i dunno what to use, should i just keep an eye out for some good tupperware? because what ive found seems to be working, but i dont think that its a big enough rez. and im sure you've seen my rez by now on my thread.

The Kushes are growing fast now, especially the Kings Kush on the left (*edited, wrote right!). Plants are looking very healthy compared to my last run, I guess my new nutes are working!

Its day 47 from seed, 9 days of 12/12. And still no signs of white pistils!!!



Just got a Ruck 150 temperature controlled fan. Just set the temperature and it adjusts the speed between 4 different speeds.

Havent installed it yet, but hopefully I can then run 2 x 250w CFLs with decent temps. That will probably increase my yield even further!

I used to grow in an identical drobe to that!
Mine was soil, made a little slideout shelf that sat about halfway up the 2 dr side.
Saved the single door for veg/mommas and below the shelf for nutes + soil and various tools.

I always imagined dro' would have been the way to go in their though, and judging by your results....

I like your fan too, quite the unit! I used a 4" and a single 250hps and heat was always an issue

Sorry for the lack of updates, I have been a little busy and have also caught a cold or something after 2 days out in the bush fishing.

Thanks Ghostwolf! The new fan looks very good, but I havent installed it yet. Still waiting for some 150mm ducting.

Christoph! You should get as big a DWC rez as you can fit into your cabinet. More water = more stable PH etc.

Here are some new pics, they are showing lots of flowers now:





Also the clones are looking good, lots of new growth on them. Also took some new ones that had already started to show flowers, will try to get them back to the vegging state.



How long do you reckon the Kushes have left? I will need to keep the clones in the small cab until they are done. Hopefully by the end of June I can chop them and move the clones into the big cab then.

Wow man, that Cindy you ran looks smashing! Thats alot of buds on those plants... Maybe I will upgrade to HPS this fall. That would make my cab even more productive!

I'm running an 150 watt HPS with 4 cfl's for added bule in my new cab...
As long as you have adequate intakes, you can get big lights in your box bro...always double(or triple) intakes to exhaust..

Hi guys, thanks for following my little grow!

Have been working too much lately and havent had time to surf this great site so much.

Also still havent installed my new fan, the ducting I ordered have not arrived yet.

But things are progressing nicely though, the Kush sisters are throwing out pistils like crazy! Also trimmed away a good deal of fan leaves that where blocking the light to the mid and lower buds. Just a little experiment, lets see how it goes. I think I will yield a lot more compared to my previous run of Easyryders. Lower and more stable temps, EC and PH values does the trick!

Some pics, now at day 63 from seed and 4 weeks of 12/12 tomorrow.





The clones are also growing fast, putting them into netpots with hydroton as soon as the roots show. I hope I can keep them under control until I can move them to the big cab in 4-5 weeks....

Small Kushporn update for all interested....

Buds are getting bigger and the smell is absolute dankness! The bubba kush does smell like bubblegum already. Nice!

What to do with all these clones? Just topped 3 of the Kings Kush clones to keep the height in check.



This is the best hobby in the world!
