Hey icmagers, I'm going down the breeding road, reading many books and articles. Chucking some harvested pollen on nearly every strain. Anyway, I just wanted to see some contribution and posts from local Colorado Breeders and pollen chuckers, see what kind of crosses are going down out there. Also, is it true that DJ Short moved to Denver to work for the Farmacy? Any truth to that at all?

some guy who claimed to be a breeder gave me some seeds awhile back.

dj shorts blueberry X trainwreck (bluewreck)

big bud X critical mass (big crit?)

I've got 2 of the bluewrecks and 5 or 6 of the big crit's going right now, there only 2 weeks old...will post pics when they get bigger.

Certified pollen chucker here, and here's what I've got seeding right now:

Super Lemon Haze X NL
Super Lemon Haze X Hashberry
Double Sour Diesel X Hashberry
Hashberry X NL
Hashberry X Sour D
Hashberry f2

Grab Clarke's book if you haven't already, great reference. I read it, but have forgotten most of it...

Does anyone have a list of strains from Colorado? I have been trying to figure out what flavors CO is responsible for. Golden Goat, Chemdog? I used to think the Cough was a colorado strain.

I know you know which strains were born in Colorado.

Im still searching for the schwartz!

I mean, I'm sure there are 100's, if not, 1000's of strains that were created in Colorado. I don't think there is an exact comprehensive list.

Let's start with the obvious

Chemdawg
Golden Goat
Grape Haze
Wheelchair Crippler
Tangerine Haze
Blue Biker/Blue Bullrider
Cough
Hong Kong
Cabbage
Melon

This should have its own thread...probably already does...

Well I am in Colorado and am a breeder (amature) but dedicated. So far I have developed 2 strains, Velvet Hammer (an IBL cross of dj short's blueberry and nirvana's pure power plant) and scarlet venom (cross of strawberry cough and a very indica white widow).

I recently had a male death star pollinate everything in flower, so I'm about to have death star x death star, death star x buddah's sister, death star x ak 47 (cherry indica leaning pheno), and death star x purple star cross.

I've thrown about 20 strains out of my garden over the last year due to poor yeild, tired genetics or potency issues, and I'm keeping on about 20 strains currently, plus all the new seeds I've just made.

Here are some pics of my Durban girl that got hit with Hash Plant pollen. I'm hoping I find some nice beans in the cross. I think there is enough different and enough in common with those 2 strains that something very special can come out of it. Both Durban and HP both have broad and very dark green leaves. The Durban is a sativa, and the Hashplant is pure indica. I'll search hard for a special pheno in those!

He said Gang Bang .. lol
:moon: :YaRight: :hide: i think my ladies just ran for cover

just think of what could come of all the new crosses and phenos per cross etc. it could take a lifetime to sprout each new strain and search for killer phenos. I know some lucky guy on here that maybe has some BOG Lifesaver males on the way. .now that may be something worth chucking around..maybe

I remember a couple of original Colorado strains.
