Rainman, that looks like some Pre98, Socal, or LAPK, I can't tell you what strain you have and I'm honestly no strain no-it-all but I try to help.
BYO...best pics of her I've seen in ages. The only pics I've seen that look like when I've run her. Rainman...my guess is pre98. Katsu is thinner and taller...PK is wider and like in BYO's pics you want some leaf edge curl almost like the old pics of Tarantula from overgrow. But your conditions and methods could bring out diff characteristics I spose. What do I know? Here's another future comparison from a few years ago.....

Thanks for the replys guys. I know what she is but wanted to ask for comparison sake. She's a Bubba and a stellar smoke but this next run with her will be more frosty and weighty. I did notice the leaf curl on the pics(BYO, I believe) earlier and of course it reminded me of Bubba x DC from Canncopia. Only other plant that I have ever seen that trait in is DC. But that is just my observation of the pics. Again thanks.
I vetoed all three females I got of the PK X og X nl... Flowered clones of each, more than once. The last pheno I kept looked beautiful, and had a complex flavour, but was just not that distinctive.

Lunes old pics of his LAPK are the best example of LAPK I've seen. Too bad the pics aren't loading anymore, but if you can find those pics - save em cause they're the perfect representation of LAPK - IMHO

And aeric- I know you know whats up. Thanks for adding your photos. It was after reading one of your post's about PK from a couple years back that I learned that PK does better if you back the lights off a bit. Big difference for sure -thanks

I'm running her now, I have about 140 in 2 gallons now, I'm going to see how she responds to my growing technique, I think she likes me... ha ha. Pictures will be updated when I she gets to be noticably PK, no need to show pics of "Wow, I can't wait till she turns purple"... This is clearly the strongest strain in my collection. I have an OG, and my F-13 is coming in 3rd, so... all I have to do now is get my SoCal Masterkush and Pre98 back so I can compare the smoke to some of my friends...
Don't believe what anyone says about this strain about being Bubba-Kush lite!!! That's bullsh*t, this is more like bubba kush on steriods... Respect the cut, it is what it is...I got 6-7 weeks to chop... trying to go 10 weekss, or 70 days...
got a couple more weeks on my PKs, they arent showing purple like some of yalls...this shit is so god damn sour D stanky ness, smells like lemon mint when you touch the buds. cannot wait to smoke..

RudeB - If that is supposed to be the representation of PK or Suge's cut I think I will keep my Purple Bubba! No offense, but that looks like some shitty bagseed herb! I cant beleive that those pics you are showin is what everyone is searchin for. Plants or flowers!

No offense taken, don't really give a shit what you think of my pics! I know they're poorly taken but the bud was phenomenal! I know exactly what cut I have and where it came from my man, straight outta Suges hand into mine. When I originally posted these pics way back when I openly appologized that my shots were not doing the plant justice.
Quick question for you Rainman? What makes a plant look like a bagseed strain? See I've popped thousands of beans by various reputable and not so reputable breeders as well as loads of how did you so eloquently put it "shitty bagseed". I've been able to distinguish stragglers/ strains with little to no vigor, super stretchers, you name it! But I have experienced that with packs that cost several hundred dollars all the way down to free or as you put it, "shitty bagseed"! Never ever have I been able to notice a difference between various seedlings without labeling! None have ever "clearly bagseed" in appearance! Could you please explain to me with your dearth of grow knowledge how I can too learn the difference between shitty bagseed strains and the uber dank like purple Bubba? See I also have a few other shitty bagseed strains like Chem D, 4, ECSD, and various OGK's!
You probably thought it was cute to repeat something you read earlier in this thread which is 4 or 5 years old! But now it just seems like an Idiotic statement, doesn't it?
Not that I expected my plants to come out exactly like Suges, he had it completely dialed in, those pics were from my first run. It was shown to exhibit certain tell tale signs that Suges PK possess' like the huge cabbage leaves, dark "merlot" burgundy/maroon color of leaves. Most everybody has bright purple
leaves without the cabbage leaf look. Also in Vegg suges pk leaves semi-swirl(suge referred to it as "leaf swerve") haven't seen anyone show a plant with all of these traits.
This thread is about Suges PK, not my pics of what my first run of suges pk looks like compared to a guy that had a cut for years, jeez cut a muhfucka a lil slack!
