Hey Bones, is it cool to use plants with mold for BHO, I`ve always used any I have in ice extraction technique, but I prefer both making and smoking BHO over ice hash, does the butane somehow leave the mold in the pipe/tube?

Is there nothing left in your armoury to fight that shitty mildew off, that must be really bugging you. I guess less plants in yer overcrowded flowering room would help, but it doesn`t look like that`s gonna change for a while.

Hey bone, i found the SSH x PTK seeds in a kitchen unit, grabbed a few, put them in a pot outside and 8 came up. So they are still viable and now in the fridge. Will hopefully get a good male and hit the SSH again to continue her.

Hello cloneman and bonecarver. Fat Freddy's Cat from the old PG. I cracked 20 of the SSH x PTK beans from a couple years ago. Not the original ones I got cloneman but others that you had sent me afterwards. Same batch I think though. Anyways they all popped immediately and grew just fine. Here are some pics at day 27 of 12/12/ There is one pheno that gets a curved trunk, only gets 2 feet tall or so inside and 3 or 4 outside and is just a massive amount of buds along the trunk and basically makes a football shaped cola only about twice as big as an american football.

I think it is a pheno because the first 20 seeds I popped and grew outside I found 2 just like this one. Same curved trunk coming out of the ground, almost look bonsai but I never lst'd them. It is also an extremely narcotic pain relief stone. Not a high but like being drugged. I have had several people pass out after taking a couple hits. My wife uses it for sleep and leg pain.

The other phenos are like bonecarver describes. One is taller flowers 85 days or so and is really potent with no ceiling, Then there is a mix that flowers in 70-75 days and is also a very nice smoke.

So I have kept growing this and made a few crosses with it and I also shared some of the seeds and clones with friends.

I have some SSH x LP seeds too. Did you ever grow them and what did you find?

here is the 600w closet I use to search for phenos I can run outside. The bonzai isn't one of them because it is just to dense and molds easily. But there are some that do nicely.

Lots of people have been stoned on your ssh x ptk in Pennsylvania.

Bonecarver you are to be commended on keeping this thread alive all these years. You are one of the most dedicated growers of ganja that ever lived.

Hey Bones, I`ve another question to add to my earlier ones about mold and BHO, if you dont mind.

I want to re-use my coco and wondering what the best way of finishing with this in mind. For example how long to flush, and is it cool to flush with ph`d water + zym product?

tokesome hehe the neighbours normall dont give too much hustle in spain if u dont disturb them

the butane extracts only resin. the mould spores etc get left behind in the used material. also i dont know if they even survive the butane.

this winter is too humid. i would need 2-3x the normal ventilation and extraction. and yeah i got too many plants in there for sure hehe well since i ntrim down the number of branches it should go ok, the problem is some strains are more sensitive to PM. maybe they got a lower natural resistance... the plant i got problems with is the chronic and in some extent the crippleberries. the rest is ok atm

if nothing else - its going to be a few VERY fat nugs that is going to turn into BHO! no loss really hehe

yeah i grew out the SSH/LP and there for sure is some nice phenos in there the football sized one kola plant sounds like a SCBB/PTK/PTK we had for a while also too thick and mould easy we skipped that one after 2 years.

sorry you couldnt find a massive hybrid pheno like our C-pheno we been keeping for all this time. most rewarding plant of my life....

that tall one kola pheno looks very ptk influenced when it comes to plant structure

The plant in the box on the far left against the wall has been supercropped and tied to the light chain otherwise it would have taken over. It is gonna take the longest and be the biggest. I think it's the keeper.

The (ssh x ptk) x ptk seeds I grew outside a few years ago were just too dense. They actually got ingrown leaves all curled up inside a massive bud and would mold. I never grew them again for that reason. Massive beautiful plants until they rotted.

These are ssh x ptk. There are 8 of them in this box all from seed. 3 lean the ssh way and 5 lean the ptk way. The ptk leaners have huge leaves and are much thicker bud sites at 27 days.

I had a big tall ssh pheno outside a few years ago with the classic spear shaped colas that had the biggest trichs I ever saw. I wish I would have cloned that one.

Did you find a ssh x lp that you kept as a keeper bonecarver?

we have used some ssh/lp males, but no female this far has been a 100% keeper pheno. its good smoke for sure but im looking for more density

sorry to hear the ssh/ptk/ptk got too fat for their own good maybe they work better in dry conditions

i know vend, i know. try doing a small grow op over the winter (here) and have one of your scbb have such bad mold that you had to make it into hash, and all your deep chunk (5) yield less than an ounce. these are the breaks, but you take the good with the bad...and the bad you turn into hash
