No mate, wouldn't have a clue sorry. I would only get the bag ones personally. They're fun. :) I used to mess around with a turkey baster glass tube over a candle for a while. It worked, lol. Pretty ghetto though.

I would do the bucket but the thing is, there's just no need, hehe. I use an all glass pipe. It's so shitty but damn, aussie head shops suck balls as I'm sure ya aware!

 :kewlpics: Nice little setup, I agree with ya on the bag systems, would like to get that extreme arizer vaporizer even @ $400aud, it's more than way out of my pocket depth, but would be the best move for my health, hopefully they will be back in stock soon at this price
http://vapourama.com/?p=60 those volcanos are thru the roof in prices on ebay, can't afford those :yoinks:. All bongs and glassware got banned down here @ the start of last year, quite a few head shops had major sales and closed shop, but I know of a few still selling stuff for tobacco use only :whistling:.
Peace.

I remember having a 4 litre bucket bong, haha. This was in my parents' garage growing up, permanently full of water and ready to go. They never asked me why the bucket of water is always there.

Boom, 400 is probably worth it yeah. When ya think it's not even the cost of 2 ounces. I got real sick of mine though. Even a good one I doubt I could smoke it every day. I found the thc vaporizes so it's very up high. And then you're left with a pile of weak and couchlocky weed remains. Just wasn't for me I guess. :dunno:

I reckon cannabutter is one of the best ways. You don't lose much at all, and don't need much equipment or skill. Easy to consume and no smoke. Great way to get rid of leaf also. I have 30 grams leaf/trim and will add some Pure buds, maybe 5 to 10 grams. Can't wait :smokeit:

Here they will display pipes for tobacco use only, but they also display "pourers" which are basically shitty one piece glass bongs for salad dressing and shit, haha. Aussie headshops are miserable.

Edit: Uses include: Milk, Oil, Salad Dressing, Vinegar, Juice and much more!

I hear you bro on the eating of the good herb, but I've never used a vaporizer and are keen as to try one. The cost of 2 oz down here is $400 so you are right on the benefits, I just have to quit smoking for a month :noway: :YaRight: to be able to get one. Got to give the cigs the flick too.
Good info on the link bro, should just cook my herbs, but I actually enjoy smoking them, stuck between a rock and a hard place.
:muahaha:
:smoweed:
Peace.

I'm just closing up making a fresh batch of butter :smoke: I broke/ground up 10 G's of cured Pure and it's primo. Sticky as glue inside and out.

DAGNABBIT! I found out I have thrips! Sounds like Spinosad is the way to go and I'm pretty sure I've seen it on the shelves here as "Success". I've often had this problem and never really cared about it as it only appears late flower for me and doesn't seem to do much harm.

The spinosad treats fungus gnats too so I'm looking forward to trying it.

The first 3 plants are all showing early signs of reveg, and the PK is doin' great.

I've sampled all three of the first plants pulled and they are all pretty strong! :D

Madlib I will get my vape back soon but I won't have any fresh bud by then! Always next time.

aww that sucks. at least you are free of the dreaded borg :)

would you mind linking me to your cannabutter recipe or typing it down for me?

the one i currently use goes like this:

add chopped weed / leaves etc to pot

full the pot 3/4 with water

add about double the butter as the weight of the weed you put in

stir and mix while simmering until 95% of the water is gone (about 2 hours)

strain all juice out and refrigerate, either re-cook the remains to get all the excess out or toss them in bin.

Yeah it's all good - easy to get rid of and apparently they do stunt growth a little so I'm looking forward to mass murdering them :sasmokin: And it "works" on gnats too so I'm all over it!

I follow this guide pretty much. Ya can't go wrong. I add a lot more water than they say though. For this batch, I used 3 litres of water, 750 gm butter, and 30+ gm leaf/trim, and 10 gm primo bud. I probably should have only added 500 gm butter but I don't mind if it's a little weaker, it'll probably taste better. I really go overboard on the water and basically look at the process as a turbo water cure and the excess water helps that - gives the waste somewhere to go.

I haven't before, but I'm planning on reprocessing this a second time. Basically when I get my block of butter tomorrow, remelt it in fresh hot water and recook lightly so even more of the taste and waste gets separated, and re-strain, re-freeze. It purifies it.

If I may be so bold, I reckon you should try adding much more water and that way the butter isn't simmering in concentrated waste/gunk and will taste nicer. (the taste is the main turnoff for me)

I got some pics of the reveg happening, I'll upload in the morning. I wasn't expecting anything to happen so soon. It hasn't fullblown started but some strange leaves are happening :D Peace.

ScrubNinja, sorry to hear about the pest problems. I've never had thripes to my knowledge but have fungas gnats when the weather warms up. Please let us know how Succes works for them. Thanks.

Will do mate. I forget your medium but if it's anything using hydro nutes/not organic, I can vouch for hydrogen peroxide in your nutes.

Thanks, Scrub. That's one thing I haven't tried and already have it around the house somewhere. I'll give it a try when the weather warms and they appear again.

Thanks for the feedback cheese. DB, I really like h2o2. I've never used it before this. A lot of problems over the years I've attributed to lack of oxygen in the root zone and h2o2 eliminates those as well as sterilising or whatever it does. I heard it's impossible to overwater with it, not sure how true that is but I'd believe it.

I just found a new pest, yes, another f*cking one! This is just in my soil mix which rests outside, and some of my vegies out there.

It's like little green moths but they're in the soil. Will get pics. *SIGH* Hopefully it's just another stage of the thrips.

These f*ckers are really harshing my cannabutter mellow, lol. Anyone know what they are?

And this is them as babies. They seem to be nested several together in some kind of cocoon under the dirt.

Greetings scrubninja, About how young can a plant can to use hydrogen peroxide for bugs. It would seem that in a new sprouts pot I have found some very small aphid looking guys in the soil. Good thing they're in only one pot.

G'day Ghosty. You can use it straight away. The PK that's growing now was watered with h2o2 while it was still a seed. I have no idea on safe dosages, but apparently you should start lightly then increase. I used 1ml per litre before it popped, and 2 to 2.5 ml per litre thereafter. The h2o2 strength is 6% by the way. A lot of people use much stronger amounts but I play it safe. Also some say not to use it in coco as it kills the fungi but I figure I can just recolonise it when/if I want to stop using h2o2. I would not use it in soil personally. Peace.

Howdy Mad. No, doesn't seem to be any real plant damage from what I can tell. How I discovered these was that small wasps kept landing on the pots outside and burrowing holes into the soil. I started poking the holes with a stick and bits of green wings came out (at first I thought they were leaves that the wasps had deposited in the holes, but they turned out to be creatures). Weird eh!
