The pros are that they distribute light evenly, they are stealth, they really stay cool and they are what Rambo would use if he were a grower. The cons are that they come with nothing to hang them by and it is a pain to clean the insides. I hadto have my electrician install a little upside down u on both sides so we could use the light hanger on that. Would I buy them again over hoods?

Probably not, i like the hoods better.

Lucky for me i just scored some sour grape clones and came here looking for info on them... found this thread, very excited.

Securityfirst - you did an excellent job with them. Are you going to run her again?

Hi Nata , yeah I can't wait to run them again. Last time we only did per 20 per tray which was a mistake. They would do great in a vertical system. It is a definite 9 weeker. You will be rewarded so much if you keep the night cycle real dark for them. The buds get so grapey and hard and crystally.

Hate to rehash...So you harvested 4.5 pounds total or 4.5 per tray? And each pound was $3800-$4200

Am I correct...I'm homegrower/caregiver (nonlegal), and I haven't paid for smoke in a little over 3 years  So I'm a little out of touch on prices these days

SWEET GROW Wish I could try something like that...But I'm small potatoes

Great job SecurityFirst! I've been looking over many of your operations, and I must say your doing a very good job! IMHO I would bury those rockwool cubes as deep in the hydroton as you can. The plant is going to strech in flowering anyway, and it will help keep you from getting any type of algea on the rockwool. I use the same ebb n flow buckets, and when I transplant the babes I bury them right up to about an inch below the first set of leaves. It seems to give the roots plenty of room to grow up, down, and side to side. I even noticed on my last harvest that the stem above the rockwool started popping roots out! I have NO problems with algea or anything, and the plants seem to love it, anchoring them extremely well in the hydroton. Keep it up dude, your doing GREAT!

These strains your running might by any chance be the same cuts floating around the oasterdam seen? reason I ask is cuuz your line up seems to be most of the strains in there catalog? And if it is... then I'm sold on there sour grapes strain as well as there cJ! looks killer!

Just a suggestion but maybe you can lower those lights, the closer you get them to the plants the better especially since heat won't be an issue with those cool tubes.

Drymouth, they are from growers in Oakland correct. Cj is killer i agree if you have the patience to let it mature ten weeks.

How's the smoke on that sour grape? I could really see the sour d in that cross, thanks a bunch for the nice photos of her!

The sour grape is actually the best weed ive smoked in years. The high is amazing too. It just keeps getting you higher and higher. The smoke that comes out of your lungs is smooth. Worth around 3800 to 4200 for sure.

At 3800 a lbs, or 235ish an oz, 60 a 1/4 is actually REAL cheap compared to the prices here in the Midwest...talked to my cousin who's 3-4 hours away...They pay around that for brown ditch schwag that I wouldn't use to line a birdcage with

I blow them all away with my dank shit...Here's a few pics of C99 bagged up before delivery to my "patient" friend...I could easily get 6k-6400 a lbs with this shit...EASY

Good smoke must be pretty cheap out there...It sure isn't here

Guest 2222 thanks for stopping in.

Drymouth, you could have 2 people trim four pds in ten hrs or so. You could also not trim it and it would be fine. Its so hard and crunchy and some weird hue of grapey light color.

Uncle Remus, Im sure if taken into other parts you could get 6 or 7 for it but i hear storys all the time of people transporting shit and actually getting caught (not fun) or they dont get paid for the run or whatever. I mean to get to the midwest you have to go through some pretty harsh states. Hungry cops looking to tear your ass down. If you wanted to take the chance though you would probably make some quick money. Around here its hard to get over 4k for a pd because there are so many affordable choices and the people that pay 4k like the clubs are picky as can be. We can only strive to make the product better.

Yes...You peeps over "there" have it made in the shade...And I agree with you on the Midwest being shitty...My friends and I don't refer to this area as "The People's Republic of Illinois" for nothing

Right on brother...That S.G. looks MY-T-FINE
