Just received these beans recently, and was hoping someone could tell me what the (T*) is in this strain? I can only assume its Thai? If in fact it is Thai, which Thai is it? Its quite clear, IMO, that Sam the Skunkman is perhaps the best breeder in our time. Would sincerely appreciate any information on this strain, if you would. B.H.

In High Times 35th Anniversary issue, they claim Nevile's Haze (Nevile being possibly the only breeder as bad-ass as Sam) x with Sam's Skunk 1 x NL 1 = Jack Herer

That said I kept the female Thai/Haze because it was so yummy, and the progeny threw out a few purple Haze as well. I love it and am glad to see so many others enjoy it also.

im glad you still hav her too the best of your knowledege can you tell us about the parents and their traits of taste/aromas

im very interested to kno which lines contribute the incense n catpiss aromas?

Outdoor, i force flowering from may and i let her go for 4 months. by the end of august i harvest....after 3 months flowering buds start to get really fat with some wierd shapes...this one i have got here been selected on a large amonth of plant, 100 if i remember right, my friend gave me a clone and since then, i kept her.....

Ok, I've read this thread a few times and it's got me thinking my friend gave me some Thunk. He described them as a Haze x Skunk cross that he started in 2000, and gave me some 3-4 year old beans. They are finally big enough to show some personality, some lanky and lime green, some squat and dark, some in between - one branched very early but the branch is mutated - I'll post a pic. It's a normal plant, but the branch is really dark, the leaves aren't shaped uniformly, the bud started early and grew quickly - it has bonus tricomes too...

i did some thunkF2 and here some guy called ZJP grow them he got very nice expression...quite quick plant, colourful and smells like citric spice and earthy he said...

he got 4 bananas on her in aproximatly in70day of flo...hes scared and want to chop it now...what would you advice to him? i mean i ask those who grew thunk or similar genetics...thanks a lot

i grew thunk alongside bigbudhacheese and hashberry. when she threw balls i panicked and harvested her. BADASS smoke.

why not just pull the balls of as they are noticed. or fuck it, chop her and smoke her. either way has a happy ending i'm sure.

If it was me, I'd just pick the bananas off and keep an eye on her until she finishes. If he has too many plants to pay that much attention to one, then chop that thing.
Looks great either way.

Hello everyone,

on the green pheno:

how long of a cure does it need ?

i must agree that the effect is ALL head, and it can be "mushroomy" but I only felt that once and it lasted for a half a minute then it went away. I wonder what hash from the green pheno is like--shit mabye Ill try.

However on taste...its not there...and its not there on potency either (my fault I think). The buds are airy and they sparkle but they only taste good out of a vape. I think the buds were so airy they dried too fast- would it be too late to add fresh thunk in there to add moisture ?

im keeping clones to reveg...i think i can get this strain right, but how long really is harvest time ? Four months? Five? Six? Do the trichs ever change color? Does humidity play an important role with thunk? Did anyone elses thunk MEGA stretch 1.5 months into flower ?

All my questions pertain towards indoor.

First off This is my first time working with sativas.
So i had a bag of these beens off seedbay a while back... lost the pack(still looking) but i had one been that survived. Forgetting that it wasnt fem like all my other seeds i didnt bother sexing it before hand. ooops...

now where i need your help
8 days into flower( i know its quit soon )
male or female anyone? it seems too soon but i cant help but worry =/

I wont dare chop her down till im for certain!
Its sure to be a monster going into flower at 2 feet tall from all the streching i hear about on this strain.
ill be keeping a close eye!

Although i wouldnt mind cross pollinating it with
my stawberry cough or cheese.



Also, about how long before the rest of you were able to tell sex?

hard to say the alternating nodes make it look female , but... it does look a little bunchy and bally round the nodes , get me a closer shot right at a joint and i will be able to tell you for sure

best pic i could snag with my iphone atm. ill post an update in a couple days.

Taking a closer look at some of the sites from different angles these tiny balls seem like there unravelling into leaves but some of the smaller ones im still unsure of.

They remind me of flower buds but im used to seeing very tiny pistles. My cheese that started at the same time already has a few pistels on the bud sights but none on this plant.

Id be pretty bummed if it was male but only time will tell.
