Here is a shot of the 200amp Main breaker box. To the right is a breaker box hooked to a 17,000watt generator that is also hooked to the propane tank. As soon as the electricity goes off this unit will pick up the slack.
This was really put added on because of hurricane season and I'm not going to go three weeks without power anymore and good luck getting diesel when the shit hits the fan here. If something like that happens I'll just consider the crop lost. This should come in handy for short/medium power outages. I'm hoping to be able to run 1/2 or 1/3 of the lights until it power is restored. More of like an emergency valve than anything else. It's a big unit, but we will have to see. Notice the AC units marked on the Guardian Box. There are two breakers run up stairs through the box too, so this would have to be a manual switchover for the lights as when these guys get out of here I'm going to drill down through the dummy wall and run a 240v 50amp line and plug a 50amp sub panel w/timers into the main panel. This can be repeated easily. The generator is more of an added potential bonus than anything else.
Fuck a bunch of hurricanes.
Big day today guys. I'm moving my plants and setting up a lot of stuff in the room. I figured Thanksgiving would be a good day to do this since everybody around me out of town, eating Turkey, and hanging out. Time to work! I'll have some good updates by the end of the day. Hope everyone has a Happy Thanksgiving! Stay safe.
Thats an attic?
Thanks bud. I like how it's coming along. I'm going to wait till I have it up and running before I pat myself on the back. Moving the girls tonight. Got some kitchen appliance boxes to help. This is a somewhat high risk maneuver, but I have security and all coordianted movements mapped out step by step. It's literally a 15-20 sec drive there. I wouldn't recommended doing this to anyone. I'm operating under some special circumstances. That is so clean, you must be very proud
