thanks everyone for stopping in, much appreciated. i haven't taken any measurements yet, but i'll probably let them go to about 18" or so before flipping, maybe less, depends on what i see i guess. there still in 1 gal pots and haven't shown sex yet so i'm just waiting.

tokin, I found a lot of that same variegation in my Tsi Fly. Asked MN about it and he said it was genetic by way of the father's line. It's nothing to worry about, not even a little.

thanks for the info SB, i was a little worried thinking i was doing something wrong even though nothing else in the room seemed to be affected. good to know it's not harmful.

What up Tokinblackguy? Glad to see your plants coming along nicely! I agree with you to flower up when your vegging plants reach 18 inches. Doing this will give you nicely branched plants that will be bushy with nice buds! The plants will be easy to control. As Strainbrain has already mentioned, the leaf variegation has no affect on growth rates and fades away in the flowering cycle; I believe this growth trait is somehow tied to potassium/phosphorus levels.

Solid growing skillz Tokinblackguy!

Prost!

More Veg Shots

More Veg Shots

hi everyone, a few more shots of the babies veggin. they are showing preflowers now and have been transplanted into their final pots. 2 of the more columnar phenos(yet still branchy) have been culled as they were males. i think one of the branchy phenos is also a male but i have not culled yet, i want to be sure. if my observations are correct, i should have 2 branchy phenos and one columnar pheno entering flower in about a week or so. the 2 runts are still pulling and i may just go ahead and flower those as well in their one gal pots, but i'm not sure yet. i will get some snaps of those 2 tomorrow.

the pics below are a group shot, a shot of branchy, and a shot of columnar.

thanks weshjo, i will do my best with these.

hey Mosca, has anyone else grown these out that you know of? i'm kind of wondering what to expect as far as aroma and flavor. stem rubs give off a skunky tart fruit smell, very appealing.

Hank Hemp, thanks for dropping in. yes, they are just about ready to flip, just want to give the roots time to adjust into the bigger pots and spread a little. i will be taking 2 clones of each female.

on a side note, i will be dusting some lower branches with either some Pink Kush or Blue Moonshine pollen to make a few seeds to play with.

TBG-- What's up Bro? Thanks for your question! I have not seen threads of any completed grows of Mach Fly other than myself.

Yes, you are in the correct range of aroma and flavors-- Mosca Fly has Bright fruity punch flavors with hints of peaches with some skunky undertones. Mach Fly has impressed me with the bouquet of floral flavors she delivers-- she has exceeded my expectations. And of course with the combo of both Warlock & Cinderella 99 the high is definitely STRONG, UPLIFTING AND CEREBRAL!!

Hey Mosca, I am giving the Mach Fly a go as we speak. I have 9 going that are about 3 weeks from seed. Looking good so far, nice and healthy.

Just finished a couple of Warlock that are in jars getting their cure on. Smells ohhh sooo goood!!! And, after almost 4 weeks in the jar, taste great to.

Can't wait to see how the combo of the two turn out, psyched as hell to try these out.

thanks for stopping in everyone...s13, ambertrich, and ganoderma.

sorry for the delay in updating but nothing really interesting has been going on lately. to confirm, i have 4 ladies that will be entering flowering this week. my ballast went out last week and the replacement is due to arrive in a couple days.

3 of the larger plants are ladies including one that's showing trifoliate(sp) leaf patterens and one of the runts is a lady. the lady runt is a completely different pheno than the 2 previously described. more on the sativa side with an angular branching pattern similar to that on Apollo11, maybe it leans heavy to the father's side. i've managed to take clones from all ladies except the runt, but if she's special, maybe i can reveg or something. the larger ladies are all above 20" in growth and should make for some nice bushes.

i will say i am really favoring the cola dominant pheno at this point. very tight node spacing, similar aroma to the other 2 but stronger and more pronounced. all have been very easy to grow thus far and i would say are medium-slightly heavy feeders.

things should be getting exciting in the coming days and i will update weekly with pics and feedback. see you on the other side....
