I do like them, few failures, bad RF, but otherwise great light delivery, silent, and lightweight.

Proteus-Sorry to hear about the problems with the Lumatek's- I've never had any of the problems you mentioned however, I heard yesterday from my hydro guy that the new Lumateks with the, I think he called it the Super Lumen's feature, have given some problems and in 2 cases here in town have caught fire. Maybe I just got lucky with the one I have?
The Xtrasun E Ballast are a different beast all together. I have had 3 during the last 2 grows and after yet another failure 2 days ago I replaced it with a mag ballast. Got to have one that's dependable and no chance of catching fire.

bigbrokush-Thanks for taking a look. Couldn't tell you anything about the LAPK. Never had it and never heard of it.

i was told to use tigerbloom with the bubbas ,it helps alot with keeping them green .i thopught i was doing someting wrong but as soon as i started using the TB the yellowing slowed to a stop

chuckyoufarley-Thanks for the tip. Damn thing has me scratching my semi green thumb trying to figure out what's up with it. Just gonna focus on getting her through the next 16 to 17 days.



Here's an update for the thread. The plants are at day 59 going into week 9. Still don't know what has happened to the Bubba's but I'm still thinking the Mother Earth Tea that was bad is the culprit. Am also wondering if having the CO2 right down on top of them had anything to do with it too??? Run off ph is very close to the same ph that's going in. Plants still taking 2 gallons of water every 4 days. And the buds are looking great even with the leaf problems on the Bubba's. Even tho they look terrible I'm still gonna finish out the thread on them. Embarrassed as hell by the way they look but I like to finish what I start. They will be given plain ph'ed water till the chop on the 18th of this month.

really awesome garden man. I've noticed the bubba does that if it doesn't get enough P in flowering. like really jack up the bloom boosters. When I do that the bubba stays green the whole time and the nugs are bigger. When it doesn't get enough it goes purple, leaves get brittle and the nug size obviously suffers.

for sure. don't have to necessarily go the tiger bloom route, but anything high in P and any carbs like Botanicare Sweet to help the plant take up all the P really do wonders with the bubba. I was just at the hydro store and I saw Natures Nectar has a new super flower product thats 0-30-20. they also have a solo of each N-P-K that is OMRI listed. I use the N on my strawberry cough's in flowering cause they start to yellow in the 3rd week if I don't lately. solid products, a little messy though.
