It's really a crap shoot to figure out when to flip. They will continue to stretch for the first couple weeks. I would say flip when it is about 66-75% full.

Hey all, just another update. I can't tell if they are male or female yet. When should I start to see signs? I have some pics here that may show them. I don't see any balls are pistils yet...but I may just be looking in the wrong places.

I'm also still trying to get the hang of taking macro pics with my camera.

Around when should I be looking for sex? I kind of thought I would start seeing signs by now.

I usually look after I flip to 12/12. I have never been able to sex them before the switch.

Some plants will kick out pre flowers in veg but most don't. You will likely have to wait for the 12/12 flip to see signs.

Looking pretty sweet though, filling the screen fast.

Thanks grouchy and Aerohead. I made the switch to 12/12 today. I filled the screen as well as I could this go round. First time so I already know what to change for the next go round so I can maximize screen fill.

I also noticed some of the fan leaves have small holes in them...my guess is over nutes. No bugs or anything else though. Besides that they look healthy!

Yea, I'm not in much of a hurry, but this is my first run and this go round is just to bang out the bugs and learn, so I'm not really concerned about maximizing yield on this one. I've learned a ton on this first run and fixed a lot of things that will make the next run a lot better.

Well, you guys were right. The plant on the left was a male. I cut it down today :-(

The other plant is still chugging along. still no signs of balls, fingers crossed for female.

Cutting down the other plant has given me a lot more room to weave though, so the turnout should still be decent! Ill get some pics in the next day or two.
