A week ago there was a pack of silver pearl on the seed boutique listed (again). I took my chance and bought it then they were gone... seems it was the last one. Just have a look from time to time at the bou maybe they will be relisted again as standards.

The REALLY interesting thing about this whole debate is that Sensi Seeds stopped selling Silver Pearl about TWO YEARS AGO. Silver Pearl has not been available from any Sensi website or store for at least that long.
So, it's very hard to say why some resellers are STILL selling SP, but it might be better to lay the blame at their door.
To be clear, no reseller has been able to buy new SP seeds for at least two years. Draw your own conclusions.

Good thing all my SSB shit is from the 90's, deffo some amazing strains like Shiva Shanti and Black Domina...hmmm, gonna pop a few today

Please make a nice diary of this one, as i've considered it myself before. Would love to see a groa diary and smoke report from someone. Keep it green.

all I can say is non of the 5 silver pearls sprouted
Never had this before so I thought it is my fault and took 5 Mazar I Sharif freebies and under the same conditions 4 of 5 sprouted. I am not amused.
The chances the last 5 will sprout are very low and I am not sure if I want to face the truth that is: 50 Euro for nothing.
Even one female would be okay.
Guess I will give them to a fried who puts his seeds direct into soil and has a great success rate. If he will fail too, we know one thing: They were old.
Too bad the bou is selling them when they know about the problem.

I agree, but maybe Seedboutique sells older seeds and germ rates vary from genetic to genetic..all the hashplant I ordered for $160 sprouted. (The herb was bunk, all 10 moms, sucked, lame potency and flavor..but that's another issue,) plants were vigorous and sprouted.
have to admire their audacity. at the same time as more and more people are having germinating and other problems with sensi seeds, they actually reduce the number of seeds from 15 to 10, and then increase the cost just for extra measure. its like they realize they're a sinking ship and are trying to grab as much loot as they can...while they can.
thanks for the contribution, im bumbed because i need the strain. but, i did get a cut this week from a friend whom i gave the sp to ages ago, whom i thoght was not growing anymore. all my time and effort payed off, but in a way id least expect. you are right, i think they are old. its an amazing strain i have my fave pheno back to, that smells almost a sweet as blueberry, but more skunk, nl. ssb rocked in the 90's. im all th and dna and dina for now i think, oh, and canadian and like the joey /karma guys.Well dmt,

oh, i got them from kind seed in vancouver over the counter. a friend works there and ive never had issues till now. i love ic becuase now we can all compare notes. sensi just put out a new catalogue too, what a jip,d

Phuck, I got a pack off Seedbay also. They look great, healthy, round and tan, but I guess they are old. I kind of worried SBay might have found a few old packs hidden or something. Hopefully I'll have some luck with mine but it doesn't sound good. Too bad. One thing for sure, when I do try to germ I'm going to be ready to make some seeds in case I do get a male/female because it's looking like this strain is a goner.
It's still on a couple sites but since I had not ordered from those before I had been waiting and when it popped up on SBoo I jumped on it. If anyone interested in the other sites showing it as available pm me.
No offense to anyones skills, but I have never had an issue with Sensei seeds. EVER> Granted, something may have changed in the last 6 or so years I havent bought any, but I have always considered Sensei one of the best out tere ahnds down. I JUST lost my 97 Jack Herer mom

Operator error often gets blamed on seed cos. Not defending them at all, but there are SOOOOO many mitigating circumstances that coulda caused this. Did you get them FROM their store in AMsterdam? They dont send to US I believe, so I would take it up with vendors before thrashing one of the best and founding seed banks out there.
