I'll be going to see Spot#3 this weekend - perhaps already tonight although it's really starting to get dark early now (But that's a good thing right).
I might be bringing a few Swt#3 clones to the spot... I know that it's super late but I have way too many plants in my vegging cab. You can check out my indoor thread - I wouldn't mind if I could harvest outdoor buds looking like the 33 day pics I have in there...
I'm also a little bit excited to see if my gf clones are showing signs of flowering outside. They have an incredible aroma and nice resin around 6 weeks flower indoors and yields a very nice hash. Maybe they won't get started at all but if they do then I think I'm gonna have some really nice blonde bubble. I remember Maffe finished a C99 outside a couple of years ago (Although it was pretty late), and grapefruit is "75%" C99.

hey brother, all of that soda can guards is highly visible. may i reccomend you leave nothing not made by earth around your plants? good luck

Thanks for stopping by.
I know the cans are visible but in spot #1 and #2 they're also pretty necessary with small seedlings. In Spot#3 they're not and I won't be using them there next year.
I might just go for larger plants next year also though - in that case the plants will be too big for cans when they go out anyway.
Pics to come - still need to upload them when I have the time - but I visited all of my spots yesterday and flowering is starting now on most of my plants. I was really shocked to see how much they had grown too - tallest ones in spot#1 are around 2m now - will get back to those.
I'm shocked to see how large those plants have become, even though I really didn't do much to the soil - I just hacked away the roots, dug a little around (Didn't even dig very deep - maybe 20cm... ) and mixed in some mushroom compost, used soil and lime. Added some bonemeal-based "semi-organic" fertilizer later on I'm thinking about what some really well prepared holes could do for me next year...

Got a lot of pictures to share with you guys tonight.
Yesterday went for a little trip to see all of my spots - had a nice couple of hours in the woods.

First I went for spot#3 - Mmm things have grown:

Freja and Phil's ErdpurtXE-rocket/DP F2, the first bed I dug in this spot. Tallest plants are like 1.5m now:

Closeup of Freja (I think... stoner brain) It's flowering now although you can't see it on the pic. All Frejas are in fact flowering now, only the Phil's ErdpurtXE-rocket/DP F2 are a little later, with some individuals really starting flower while a 1 or 2 doesn't even show sex yet.

PotXFreja first bed - now 1m tall.

PotXFreja latest bed.

The fms grapefruit clones I talked about - don't know if these will start flowering at all

Then on to Sweet Tooth #3 - put out a few clones a couple of days before - already liking their new home very much - sunny days. I wonder if anyone in Denmark has tried planting this late, hehe. Other people are almost harvesting now:

Planted some more of them:

On to spot #1 - took the time to photograph this nice quiet place. Good place to have a smoke and think about life:

OMFG, hehe they're taller than me now - already close to 2m tall:
picture.php

And flowering too - this is Erdpurt F2. I took a couple of clones of this one because I like how bushy it is:

Not sure about the strain of this stem:

Spot#1 has grown too:) Tallest plant is around 180 cm I think. It's a ErocDp/dc X B3 (Or perhaps HTC DC/ErocDP X B3 - I have both - will figure it out when I update the next time) And it's flowering:)

Removed some more males - some plants are still not showing sex but I think it must come pretty soon now:

Really nice work blackone. I am surprised they aren't flowering more. They look very healthy. Nice smokin spot too.

Thanks all - I've given out too much rep in the last 24 hours - will get back to everybody.
My mood is a little better now seeing how most stuff has started flowering, and also the big plants in spot #1 are really making up for the loss of most of my small Freja plants there.
Spot#2 also makes me smile. When I went in there a few weeks ago to find everything flattened and getting munched on by slugs I must say I was discouraged more than a bit... But putting in the work, tying up the bitches and spreading more pellets and nutes has made spot#2 look pretty nice too.
Spot#3... well it's a garden now right?:)

Thanks.
Growing is so rewarding and outside... man that's what the plants REALLY want:) Have you checked out Julian's thread? That's really my main inspiration.

Well I'm at 55N so our days are still long - but daylength is rapidly declining now. Today it's 14 hours and 15 minutes - just 2 weeks ago it was 15 hours and 15 minutes, so flowering should be accelerating now. Enough for my Sweet Tooth to get anywhere near finished? I don't know - and fms grapefruit probably won't unless godess provides us with a nice late October... Not very likely but not impossible either.

holy moly. ooooooooooooooooooooo that is very very very very very nice looking.
Thanks:)

Indeed it is.
Having children is great - it's really what life is all about but damn.. sometimes need just a little slice of time and space that's your own.
Whenever I get a chance to get out there it's really lifting all of the stress away.

big plants = big buds. very nice man. trim some of those poopy lower branches. totally up to you obviously but i trim all branches off one foot up the plant. it will pay off in the end. these branches are getting little if any sun at all.

Already took some lower branches from the 2 earliest plants in spot#1 for clones - the others in that spot will be left alone.
Got some more pics of the Redhaired Sonja cross there. It's a crazy grower but unfortunately it's only starting to flower slightly - I hope it will provide me with some trichomes for the bags in time.
Whenever I get a chance to go out to spot#3 I'll be sure to take some Freja cuts because that strain seems pretty promising - a little one I kept inside in a very small cup started getting all fuzzy because of being rootbound. After potting up it's starting to reveg. That's telling me it might be possible to bring clones from the outside plants back to veg too - when I snip them then I might try to do some Tom Hill style pruning of the lower branches.
