Im really interested in what you think of the system after a couple of rounds. Just wondering, the room you have the buckets in, im assuming you didnt have tables in? Sloping would affect an EnF table as well no?

Anway, glad to see you are still around and kicking. Im looking forward to seeing your approach with the EnG system.

:lurk:

Yes, slope would affect the tables as well, but the tables are not 20 feet long so you don't see as much of a problem. I only use 4x4 tables.

I am interested to see what I can do after a couple rounds of these as well. I did very good the first round, second round had a problem that I learned from, and now the next round hopefully will be pretty good. Everything has a learning curve.

I cant hardly wait to see how you set it all up. Did you use anything to prop up your girls during flower? Tomate cages seem to work well.

I was wondering, you seem like a man who has gone through a few bags of hydroton. How do you deal with conditioning/washing/cleaning such large amounts of this stuff? I had to rinse a 50L bag and that was a huge PITA.

You know it, just working on a million projects.

I do have some really nice looking ladies that are huge right now. 15 gallon pots full of coco, house and garden nutrients. I will throw up some pictures soon enough. I just started flowering them.

i have a question...what do u do about smell?ive looked through all your post and cant find out what u do about the smell of all those plants....i noticed that your lights air doesnt touch the rooms air so that would keep it contained in the room but doesnt that smell up the entire house??i love your grows keep up the good work i was just wondering...

I have CAN 38 special 150 carbon scrubber in the room recirculating (scrubbing) with a 14" CAN MAX inline fan. This works pretty well. With a sealed room the stank should stay within the grow area, but nothing is perfectly sealed. I have a Vaportek Optimum 4000 outside of the sealed room, and a Vaportek wall unit in other areas of the building.

I would like to add another carbon filter with a smaller fan sucking air out the roof or somewhere that does not get any traffic. This will create negative pressure in the building and any stanky air that gets out of the sealed room will be hit with vaportek and then carbon scrubbed and outside. Shouldn't have any air wandering out the cracks of the doors.

do u use all the h&g additives or are there some you don't use or other brands you substitute for your coco grows?

good to see you back around

I have been using all the additives. I have plenty left for this next round, but I think I am going to try a different combo. The most expensive part of the HG line is the additives. I have a friend who doesn't use them, and I don't see much of a difference. I will still use the roots excelurator, I like that stuff. That will probably be the only additive I keep from their line. I have been using liquid karma and calmag this round and like both of those products. I will also add some sort of bloom booster, not sure what yet.

Oh, I ditched the buckets. More on that decision later. Back to my main squeeze, coco.

psbn - hmm, from just a quick glance, that filter doesn't look like it has much carbon. I am skeptical of something like that. I am also skeptical of something like the odor sock, I don't know how that small amount of carbon can keep up with some major smell. Never used them myself, so I can't say anything for sure, just a gut feeling. The vaportek works alright. I keep a giant carbon scrubber inside the room, and a vaportek outside the room. This seems to work ok. I still need to get negative pressure in the building so smell isn't going out where I don't want it to. I would not rely on a vaportek alone, I know other people claim they do, and it works fine, but I have the vaportek 4000, and the vaportronic (wall unit), and I don't think they will do the job.

bmwcali- bmw car or motorcycle? Who you calling a goof? :) Thanks man, I will try to update soon. I am slacking, I know. I will make a worthwhile update soon enough. Shit looks awesome, I can tell you that :)

Sweet set up. I used to do a lot of hydro in 4x8 tables with rockwool 6x6 hugos. I never got into the coco. Have you ever tried rockwool? It seems like people are really partial to the coco on here. I sure don't miss cleaning all those reservoirs and tables but it was always fun to have fresh bud coming in all the time.

The only thing I do with rockwool is take clones. Never done any slabs or bigger bricks. I love the coco, it just works without causing stupid problems. I just got rid of 3 ebb n grow bucket systems and 72 buckets because they were finicky. When they work, they work well, but then stupid shit will mess them up. So I went back to coco. Straight coco this round, no filler. 15 gallon pots and giant plants.

What are you using these days?

Been a few years since I did any indo other than moms and clones. Moms are in dirt, clones in oasis cubes.
Can you reuse the coco or do you replace every time?

Nice threads and work Pico Im trying so hard to dial in this room I have for my patients its 6000 watts and Im trying to figure out how to work my 4X8 tables maybe one day I can get the yields dialed in :(
