Newsom for California Governor?

I was reading that all of the California candidates for Governor are taking the side lines on the legalization of Cannabis.

Is there one that will stand with us now?

Is Newsom our best choice in the early running for support?

How do we show the candidates for Governor that we are 56% of California and they need to grow some balls and show some potential leadership.

Anyone have any input?

If the economy continues like this the state will run out of money. Then they will look for alternative forms of taxation.

One more year like this and we'll see the bills a flyin.

I guess.. I don't much care who is sleeping with who if I ain't getting it... Yeah, he is all that Gay rights and such I think.. Don't care.. I'm looking to play the Joker in the next election card game..
If Newsom is as close to a pro-cannabis choice we have then lets go for it I say.

So far his position on California Cannabis is the best AFAIK.. I didn't see a Green Party ( I am a Registered Green ) candidate.. Has anyone?

I'm willing to support our best choice..

I'm open for suggestions.. It's coming so we had better think about it..

Sadly, the Green Party in Oregon is a joke. Long history on the 'why' but they killed themselves in the late 1990's when they hooked up with the Oregon Socialist Party - like that was a vote getter, eh?

I worked them for a couple of years until I had my fill. Dumbest bastards on the face of the earth. Definitely not representative of the Green Party worldwide (particularly Europe).

Good luck on your pursuit. Personally, having worked on several congressional and senatorial campaigns here in Oregon I'm done with the whole deal. Too much drama and (*gasp*) politics.

It's a whore's business to be sure.

From what i know of newsom I don't trust him.

He strikes me as a slimely politician, waffels with the wind of whatever side lobbies (pays) him more.

I'd like to hear from SF'ers because i don't believe he gets as much respect in SF as it seems.

A little about Jerry Brown..

I noticed Brown's comments the other day and knowing him from California politics I understand his comment as a Jerry Brown thought..

Still we have to legalize and Jerry; Are we to fault that the jobs are leaving at hundreds of thousands a month ? Our productivity went into the Vapor Zone as we Smoked our wheels to produce for our employers and the productivity charts back me up. It did no good for the people and now watch the rats abandon ship Aye!

We simply can't work hard enough or cheaply enough to keep the need for increased profits going for the world IMO..

It is time for Californians to focus on quality of life IMO.

CA should bring Gray Davis back, at least he was honest about his State's financial problems and what really happened. Enron raped California and Davis got blamed, all according to plan. I like Newsom, but he seems more like a Mayor-type to me.

I really don't think anyone could be worse that Arnold.

They all are lame from what I can see.. But is Newsom the closest thing to pro cannabis we got?

I will agree with you that we have not have a good gov in 30 years and this is why we are in the prediciment we are in.

It's time for a GOOD gov. Newsom is just another talking head.

FUCK GAVIN NEWSOM. HE'S A WOMAN BEATER.

Reminded me, with all of the praise Gavin has been getting in regards to his 'green' ideas, you know "Green Leadership", you'd think he wouldn't have the audacity to drive one of the worst polluting coupes on the market, an Aston Martin V8 Vantage.....:no::crazy:

Yea, those two were awful, especially Reagan the Hippy hater. What an absolute dick he was. Arnold is in similar company.

When Arnie was having secret energy meetings with Dick Cheney and Enron BEFORE the recall election I knew CA was primed for another grand f*cking by the neocons, and that's exactly what happened.

Wise the hell up CA.
