I munched on a cracked, damaged Querkle bean the other evening...a very grape seed. I didn't know that a seed could have so much flavor. Just a shame to eat all these possibly very good pheno's. These are good for people and from what I read contain a chemical that breaks down the psychotropic chemicals produced by cannabis. Not to sure if eating these helps pass a drug test, I did find remnants of a calyx on one seed.
That Lapis cross is nice, a lot of the Lapis stayed strong and shows. Probably nice very mature with a perfect cure, if there is such a thing (it's easy to ruin one!).

Story behind Grape Ape,GDP,and Purple Erkle is that they are all different phenotypes of the same strain.
Is this true....who knows,but one thing I do know is that if you are growing a strain out and 50% turn purple and the other 50% stay green,the green pot will be more potent then the purple from the same strain.

I must agree. The GA is on my top 5 list of strains. And I have a nice variety of great strains. But Grape Ape has that flavor. Mmm.
I dont get much purple out of her though. I guess this winter I might see a nice color.

Yes I think most would say that Urkle is hands down the best purple, she just doesnt yield. The Grape Ape yields very well for an elite strain let alone a great purple. Everything has to be dialed in but these will yield, not to say mine are, especially not this run. But when things are done right especially with perfect temps and humidity etc . . . this strain is a more than decent yielder for a purple elite strain.

Yeah you hit the nail on the head she is an environmentally sensitive chick but shit aint she a gorgeous bitch even in the "bad run" shit I have had that exact same look on both Grape Ape and Pre 98 Bubba Kush from temps getting up to a robust 86 lol.
The greatness in the Grape Ape lies in the flowering time, I mean anywhere from 50-55 days is a beast. Flavor is top notch and she looks just as good dried and cured as she does growing. The high is good not anywhere as powerful as Urkle but satisfactory to most.

Any idea what this is? I got the cut in humboldt at the arcata i center, they told me it was called "barney" looks an awful lot like purple urkle. but not quite

Well here is my Grape Ape 49 days about to come down in 2 to 3 days big fan of this strain although not of this run, many issues but hey shit happens and really cant complain the summer will do that to you sometimes
, but trust back with a vengence now that it is fall
