joe, sorry to hear about the loss, gophers are fucking horrible, i don't have to deal with them around here, we have moles, a mouse size rodent version of a gopher, good thing you have plenty of good ladies to take that tw's place

Thanks Bro...

Arrgg...damn gophers, hate those varmin

I've had success driving them out with one of those spikes. Mine came from HD, looks like about the same thing though. I'd be watching all your plants very close, can't have anymore of that! You're sure providing the creatures some dank food...good move though on getting the spikes. Hope they do the trick. Good luck bro.

Garden still looks SICK

Thanks, ya I haven't seen anything else look chewed on "Knock on wood".
Those spikes also act as a theft deterrent, fuck if I were a thief and was on the other side of my fence listening to those two things going off every 30 seconds I would turn around thinking the place was booby trapped, lol...

Lovely. And fuck them gophers.

Yes, Fuck the gophers, picture Bill Murray in Caddyshack with the C4 mumbling to himself about the only good gopher is a dead gopher...
" What, you want me to kill the golfers ? "

The mole chasers seem to be working well.
Now I am just watching for wilting due to the 100+ temps here this week.
I will post some more pictures here soon...

My Early Skunks are jamming in this 100 degree weather, growing about 3"-4" a day.
They are about 6 1/2' now and rising...

Thanks 3rd I,
I lost a AK yesterday, think it was due to heat this time and not a gopher I hope.
Yes those Early Skunks are from Sensi Seeds, I am definitely cloning those girls, thinking about running 40 of those next time, they turn into trees...

joe, i have ceased outdoors for the moment, but in the past i had one of the mister fans from lowes that you hook a water hose up to, i never saw any real benefits of it, but it seemed like the right thing to do

I have noticed that when the weather is above 100 degrees the girls don't wilt and grow like hell when misted.
Been going out and misting every hour or so when the temps are above 100...

Just started my 2009 O.D.

I have 5 strains, 4 from seeds and 1 from clones.

1) Early Skunk - Seed from sensi seedbank
2) AK-47 - Seed from serious seeds
3) Mazar I sharif - Seed, freebie ?
4) SSH - seed, freebie ?
5) Trainwreck - Clone from a good friend.

1st off I dug 9 holes 2 1/2' deep x 2 1/2' across, for my 9 early Skunks.
After digging the holes I place 1 bag of Fox Farms Ocean Forest soil in each hole then top off the rest with last years soil and plug a plant in,

The reason for digging such deep holes is the clay factor making it harder on the root system so I use the FF OF to make the soil where I want it.

The 1st pictures are the holes after digging and then after completing.

I will update as I plant more in the ground...

I have 2 maybe 3 of these from clones (reason i say maybe 3 is when i was switching the plants around i forgot which one was which lol) and they came from cloes they are now in the 1st week of flower but they seem to have gone so long/tall and not very bushy (there are branches coming off dont get me wrong but not as much as my Alaskan Ice) so hopefully this will be a nice smoke, i have read that its a very potent smoke!

Been misting a couple of times a day for the last couple of days. Can't say I notice any change in growth, but its certainly not hurting anything.
